This house in on an alley--you can't drive to it-- but parking is available in several parking garages 15min walk away. The alley is a bit steep for the 4min walk up to the house. If you walk up the alley beyond the house to the street ("Mesquite") above, you can see where a taxi could let you off (at alley "Mesquite" or driver might know "Altos de Redondo") and you can then walk down hill to house. The balcony of the house and the porch overlook a hotel pool with bar that opened in April 2017. Some Saturdays can be noisy. The bar closes at 9pm.
You will have access to most of the house--two bedrooms, the larger with writing desk, ante-bathroom, bathroom with shower and toilet, living room with sofa and chairs, kitchen with table and seating for 6, and porch with chairs. ( When staying 5 days or more or the group is 4 people or larger the washing machine and second bathroom will be available).

Someone in your party needs to speak Spanish to arrange to have the co-host meet you in the main plaza, walk you to the house, show you how things work and give you keys. If you don't speak Spanish this may be a difficulty but we will work with you to arrange the meeting. (You call owner when in Taxco, owner calls friend, friend and you meet.) If you ask the friend to carry your bags up the alley or help you go find parking you need to return his kindness and time with a tip.
Outras coisas a ter em conta
There is no yard at the house, just the alleyway and the house itself. Foot traffic in the alley ends around 8pm nightly. In addition to the silver jewelry stores there is a huge silver jewelry market around the bus station every Saturday of the year. While the alley is very quiet, the city is frequently filled with amplified music from the plaza until about 11pm. The pool, at the hotel across from the house can be noisy some Saturdays and Sundays.
The exterior doors must be locked with padlocks every time you leave the house. Trash is to be carried to the trash truck in the street when you hear a cow bell ring.
