Thank you for your kind remarks, however to clarify, the house is not infested with insects. As you can see, no other guest has ever experienced what you did.
Unfortunately, what you saw this past weekend was not only due to the unseasonably warm weather (it was in the 80's in October and bugs survive in warm weather as you pointed out), but also due to the fact that the stink bug comes into homes in the fall. We do get insects in the warmer weather because we're a house in the country but what you experienced was very unusual. I've never seen any large carpenter ants or wasps in the house and you didn't mention those when we exchanged texts about the stink bugs.
When you informed me you were leaving but the other family was staying, it was unclear why you were leaving. I took your complaint very seriously and the house has been completely fumigated as a result. I anticipate there will be bugs again in the future, we're in the country but it will taper off as we get into colder weather.
The team at Grape Hollow Farm works hard to make guests feel relaxed and at home. I hope you'll be back and will give us a second chance.
