Steps from the walkable South Grand business district and public transit there are many opportunities to explore. This apartment is filled with historic features like brick fireplaces and stained glass windows, while the new kitchen and bathroom provide modern amenities.
2 bedrooms with queen beds as well as an office with futon provide plenty of sleeping space - 4 different sleeping areas including the living room. In unit laundry is in the bathroom, and basic toiletries are provided. Price includes 9.179% state and local sales tax. The space is still a work in progress, as reflected by the lower price for such a large space. Renovations have had an eco-friendly focus, reusing materials, selecting No-VOC paints, FSC certified wood, or new energy star windows. The home is stocked with fair trade coffee, eco-friendly cleaners, and recycled paper products.
Please note that TV and cable are NOT marked as amenities because there is no television in the apartment.

Guests can have as little or as much interaction as they desire. We live in the downstairs apartment if something comes up.
Guide includes some food and entertainment ideas; we enjoy the local food scene and are happy to discuss specific recommendations within walking, biking, or driving distance.

Please be sure all doors and gates are closed and secure, especially when leaving the back yard.
Please be respectful of the space and our neighbors, including young children and professionals who start work early in the day.
No smoking in the house. Smoking is allowed on the porch, so long as it remains unobtrusive.
Please leave the place as clean as you found it so I can keep the cleaning fee low. No need to make the bed before leaving since linens are washed after every guest. Please give an ETA and Check-out time so to help me ensure adequate time to prepare the apartment between guests. We live in the downstairs apartment, so I am there to greet you on arrival and show you around.
Well-mannered pets are allowed at no additional charge, just let us know beforehand. The back yard is fenced off, but is a shared space used by my greyhounds and chickens, so I ask that you keep your dogs on a leash outside.
Love the outdoors and eating good food. Unfortunately medical issues have slowed me down recently, but I make sure to see new places whenever I can.
