The little fishing village known as Klima is located right on the waterfront quite close to the entrance of the huge natural harbour of Milos. The tiny hamlet is much admired for its little boat houses with their brightly painted doors and windows.
The boat house gives visitors a true sense of tradition.
The property is comprised of, on the ground floor, a safe housing for the fishing boat during the winter months and on the top floor a comfortable little home for summer vacation. The Yellow Boat House was built in 1949 and renovated in 2009.
On top we find a small balcony onto the sea then on entering the house a living space including kitchenette, dining area and comfy corners with built in sofas where two extra guests can sleep. In the rear there is a double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Taking the staircase at the back of the house we come up onto a veranda where guests can take in an outstanding panoramic sea view including the opening to the gulf, the mountains opposite and the sun setting behind the volcanic island of Erimomilos (desert Milos). This year (2016) we have wifi internet.
On arrival Milos visitors can travel by road to Klima (6 km - approx. 15 mins) taking the main road out of the port town of Adamas heading for the uppermost village of Tripiti then taking the left turn down to the sea for Klima. Of course guests can always anchor right outside the front door when travelling by boat!
