Lantern street is a charming late 17th century apartment in the center of Lyon (1st district). It is 35 sqm with high roofs (3m70) and fully equiped (kitchen with microwaves, hot plates... wifi, tv, dvd player...). You will live in a very old and beautifull space with wooden floors, a big fireplace and even a cathedral roof and a statue of the virgin up to the bathroom ! The street is narrow and the place is very well insulated with old golden stone.
You'll find everything you need in the kitchen (coffee and tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil) and in the bathroom as well (shampoo, lotion, towels, hairdryer). The apartment is at the heart of Lyon and you could do anything by walking. 5mn from the opera, 10 mn from Bellecour, 10mn from "le vieux Lyon".
The area is very alived, there are many very good restaurants, cafes, shops and a supermarket just accross the building.
The apartment is about 20/30mn from train station Lyon Part-dieu by bus and almost 25 mn from the train station Lyon Perrache by subway. The nearest subway stations are "hôtel de ville" (5mn walking) and Cordelier (5mn walking too).
If you arrive by plane, there is a special train from the airport to the subway station "Vaux-en-velin", then take the subway to the station "hôtel de Ville", then walk 5 mn to rue Lanterne. If you arrive by train at Part-Dieu train station, you can take the bus C13 and stop at "Terreaux" (11mns). Then walk 5mn to rue Lantene and you're arrived.
Living in this apartment is a time travel in one of the oldest street of Lyon !
