Don't stay here.
What?? This is a super host??? You have got to be kidding. I'd be embarrassed to have friends over if my house was this messy. I rechecked reviews to see if I had missed something. There were no recent reviews for this room.
Very nice host, lovely family with a couple of energetic 8 and 6 year olds, and grandfather; which is why I hate giving this bad review.
I walked into the house and literally thought they had just had a birthday party for 20 three year olds. I literally asked as the kids where running in circle,s joyfully screaming with their balloons. The bedroom was clean but the house looks like a tornado hit. I asked the host if she was going to clean up the mess in the living room and she said, "No, the living room is the children's domain." (counter and desk top surfaces have also become the children's domain).
The posted photos are reminiscent of a home staged for sale, the enormous amount of web auction items, misc. items, all clutter has been removed for the Airbnb photos. The shared living spaces need serious organization and picking up. No need to have 200 pencils strewn everywhere, not exaggerating.
Want to use the restroom? Guests must walk through the large living room, navigate clutter, into the family kitchen half bath to use the toilet. Day or dark night, guests must to navigate around lego sets, toys balls, old balloons, games, and clothes on the living room floor. And this is a Super Host? Shame on Airbnb. Guests should know the shower is located upstairs on the opposite side of the house. Guests will be walking through "the children's domain" living room, kitchen, This bathroom is shared with the two additional guest rooms which may or may no be occupied on the 2nd floor during your stay.
The host offered I move to one of the more convenient upstairs rooms and after the tour, I wondered why no one had washed off the partially erased 3 foot pencil drawing left on the guest room wall.
The dust made my sinuses stuff up badly when I walked in the house. I regret I stayed the one night, happy to cancel the 5 week stay.
The bedroom appeared clean but it does have an unlikeable smell which I could not identify.
The room comes with a small refrigerator. Guests are requested to keep their personal groceries in their bedroom refrigerator and bring them to the kitchen for cooking. Dry goods may be left on the kitchen counter.
The family dinner was left on the stove, still out when I left in the morning. The kitchen is large and beautiful but neglected and in need a serious scrub down.
