I'm sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience in our home !
We pay great attention to cleanliness even if the maintenance of a country house demands a lot of time, but this is the first time I have such a bad review, so I tried to understand the issue.
The guests just before you, had a dog and Fathy, my housekeeper, explained to me that me that the vacuum cleaner was working badly and she couldn’t finish the cleaning on time as well as she should have. I apologize for that.
Since, we bought a new vacuum cleaner, so I hope your experience will remain an isolated incident.
I do accept animals because I know how hard it can be to find pet friendly rentals, even if it tooks more time to clean after a guest with pet (for example, it actually took Fathy 1 extra hour of cleaning to remove all the hair of your dog from the sofas, carpets and beds with a brand new vacuum cleaner this time).
We put our heart making our guests feel good in our house, choosing carefully the interior decoration, upgrading as often as possible the equipment, and I love to share our little piece of paradise with our guests.
I regret very deeply that you didn’t appreciate it the way we (and most of our guests) do, it was definitely damaging for both of us.
