Very nice house easily found if you use the co-ordinates. Sarah is extremely friendly, informative and the perfect host. Keeps herself very busy and the house in top condition. Nice room withe ensuite and a good large shower. Breakfast was fine everything that we wanted to start our day. If you are in that area then well worth a visit.

we had a great night in Shieldaig staying with Sarah and Haggis (who is just lovely!). we arrived around 3pm and took our bikes around to applecross, before returning and checking in with our host. Sarah is incredibly accommodating and her home is lovely and comfortable. we had a twin room with private bathroom. we didn't need for anything. we had dinner at the local pub and a few drinks later, crashed out for the night. breakfast following a swim, which is a must do to get rid of any aches and pains from the night before! sarah then gave us plenty advice for a walk/hike which was amazing. the views there really are something to behold. thoroughly recommend Shieldaig and Sarahs B&B. a must when travelling in North West Scotland!

Sheildaig is a stunning location and well worth a visit on any trip to this fantastic part of the country. Sarah's hospitality was superb and the accommodation was perfect. She and Haggis (a super friendly Labradoodle!) made us feel very welcome and engaged in some fascinating and wide-ranging discussions (The latter was mostly Sarah). An absolute pleasure. Thanks you.

I don't stand on ceremony here in my wilderness retreat but happy to share it with guests who want a quiet stop-over while exploring this idyllic part of the north west highlands. I came here 6 years ago to live my dream having been dragged here by my parents in the back of an old landrover 50 years ago. Some things have changed such as warm houses, better roads and lots of things to do and see in addition to tramping over the mountains. I did and still do alot of the latter so can give plenty of advice as to good walks in the area having set up the Shieldaig "Dynamo Dames" walking group. There's walking for everyone roundabout. But the highland welcome remains the same.....
