I am delighted to have excellent communication with guests at booking, prior to arrival and during their stay if needed. I leave a kitchen starter pack dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, black bin bags all that sort of thing so you don't have to get these essentials on day 1 of your stay, and a few guest goodies usually a Cornish cream tea to welcome you. I have known the house all my life. My grandfather built it and it remains our family Cornish home. When my parents passed on we decided to keep the house for holidays and for our grandchildren. Our daughter was married from this house at the nearby St Mewan church where my husband and l were married.
I am on hand to answer questions, and offer suggestions about where to visit. I love sharing Cornwall and my home with guests, getting excited about sharing my local knowledge. My favourite restaurant is Wreckers at Charlestown harbour ( of Poldark fame) the family's favourite pasty shop is Pearce in Mount Charles and favourite shop is Rowes bakery for saffron buns.
Ideally you should arrive just after 4pm. If you are delayed then just let us know. We have a keysafe so once you have your code you have immediate access to the house and one of us will text or call in to check you know where things are and how things work like the washing machine. I hope that you have a really great time when you stay at Edens Horizon.

I am a Barts nurse with strong Cornish connections and proud of it. I left Cornwall to train in London but always made time to go back to Cornwall. My jobs have taken me all over the UK. I stopped being a nurse practitoner 2 years ago and live in Henley on Thames with my Barts medic husband. We have 3 lovely grown up daughters all closely associated with the area, one being married from Edens Horizon 2 years ago. I am a volunteer at Greys Court a local National Trust property and we are both very involved with rowing and Leander Club in Henley. I recently did the full Moonwalk in aid of breast cancer and have done lots of marathons and fund raising over the years with and without my girls and Robert my husband. I manage the enquiries and bookings on our lovely family house in St Austell Cornwall. I am very enthusastic about Cornwall and this house where l was born in particular. I love to give guests loads of information about the area and ensure that everyone has the best possible time. I am an Abba, Queen and Pink Floyd fan and love musical theatre. As a family we take every opportunity to stay at this lovely holiday home.
We all love reading so the bookcases are bulging and we are happy to share these books with our guests. We also enjoy long walks and pubs and visiting National Trust properties near Edens Horizon. Our gardens are also important to us and we hope that you enjoy them when you visit. I look forward to welcoming you.
