Between Cahors and St Cirq Lapopie, in this large and lovely house, a gorgeous and comfortable south facing double bedroom with bathroom and balcony (with table and chairs) overlooking the garden and the Lot valley. Also available, a bedroom with two single beds for your children. A delicious full breakfast is included.
New for summer 2016: Possibility of renting a pneumatic boat (Bombard Commando C3) similar to a Zodiac for quite extraordinary moments of calm and beauty on the river Lot.
Two beautiful and brand new double bedrooms (the other one is viewable, if available under the title "Rue du Pigeonnier 1) plus one other with 2 single beds (no bathroom) if you have children (and bookable on this page when you choose 3 or 4 visitors) in this 4000 sq ft "Maison bourgeoise" from the 18th to the 21st century. The house is classical and contemporary, chic and fun. No pretension here and a gorgeous little garden. Every detail has been thought out to maximise comfort, to stimulate your senses, to accentuate pleasure and facilitate joy. The living spaces are vast and the bedrooms and private bathrooms very comfortable. The delicious full breakfast is included: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, grilled local rustic baguette, croissants, home made jams, freshly squeezed fruit juice, smoothies, soft boiled egg and cereals for you or your children upon request.
I also prepare dishes for lunch and supper with local (often organic) fresh products upon advance request.

Consider yourselves at home. You will have access to all the common rooms : The main sitting room with its huge "Cantou" (fireplace), and many creature comforts, the dining room, terrace with outdoor sofa and arm chairs, the garden...
Two bedrooms have their own balcony and all guests are most welcome to use the main terrace overlooking the garden where breakfast can be taken, or a complimentary apéritif taken under an avalanche of wistaria flowers throughout the spring and summer. Bean bags are available for reading on the lawn or having a nap !

I will be here as much as I possibly can to ensure that you have everything that you need to maximise your comfort, to share my knowledge of the region and do my best to make your stay as agreeable and pleasant as possible. This is a truly stunning, rich, diverse and interesting part of France.
Outras coisas a ter em conta
I am British born and speak both fluent French and English. I have lived and worked here in my two studios since 1994. One is digital based and clean, the other, more manual, a bit less !
I am an artist living and working in the Lot valley, this beautiful part of south western France.
After many years running a successful ceramic design and tableware company in London, I found the calm and tranquil serenity of this place to be the ideal backdrop within which to pursue my artistic activities.
I set about transforming an abandoned and predominantly C19th "Maison Bourgeoise" into my idea of a perfect contemporary house, home and studio.
I love to share the wonderful pleasures of rural France, and so welcome you to my comfortable home...
