I need to correct a couple of the comments made by this guest. The bathroom is NOT shared with others. He may have thought that because it isn't attached to the bedroom. It is in the hallway but my two daughters use my bathroom. We have a very social dog, as clearly stated in the listing. The dog does not bang on the door...paws don't work that way and she certainly wasn't banging her head on the door. She was probably whimpering and scratching. She doesn't like to be alone and when I leave the house at 7:30 to take my daughters to school she usually goes to where she knows there is a human being. Most guests really love her and invite her in, some have even brought her presents. A lot are very happy to see her and actually like to pet her and have her around. I've even thought of adding her as an amenity, since dogs are therapeutic and she is such a sweet, non-threatening creature. If the guest had opened your door the noise would have stopped. She will usually just quietly lay under the bed. I understand that not everyone likes dogs. If you don't you should be more careful in booking. He could have mentioned that she is annoying during his stay. We could have locked her in a bedroom and his suffering would have ended. It's a nicer solution rather than giving a 3-star review after the stay because of something we disclosed in the listing, but he didn't pay attention to.
