Large with lofty ceiling this detached studio apartment in South Hobart is hidden away down a garden path and perfect for a couple keen to explore all that Hobart has to offer - whilst giving tranquillity and privacy. Surrounded by SoHo history.
Cathedral style windows make this a light and airy space. At night you can see the stars from bed - or you can watch tv! We've got plenty of good dvds if you fancy a night in, and lots of books if you want to sit out in the garden and have a read whilst listening to the resident blackbird. A kitchenette and a small bathroom with fluffy towels which will be replaced each day on request if you're staying more than 1 day.

We have a sunny, sheltered courtyard where the BBQ is - you get the view of Mount Wellington from there. In summer the courtyard can get very hot - so bring block-out and hats. But in winter we get frosty mornings, wild winds and occasional snow. You definitely need warm clothes - especially if you're thinking of walking anywhere. The little garden alongside the studio apartment has 2 very comfortable chairs. A lovely place to sit quietly and read.

Terry is in and out most of the day - whilst Anne will be at work. But one of us will be here to greet you and we're always available on our mobiles if you need any help.
Outras coisas a ter em conta
The studio is down a pretty garden path with steps that are easy to manage - but it wouldn't suit people with walking difficulties or problems with balance. Equally this is not an apartment or garden for toddlers or children (babies pre-crawling stage are fine but please bring their bedding with you).
Whilst the studio is only set up for 2 to stay overnight you could have a small lunch or dinner party if you're well behaved! And you're welcome to use the bbq with your friends. This is an old property with rustic garden steps and path - so watch your step. It's also a suburban area so we wouldn't expect there to be rowdy music playing late at night! Definitely no smoking inside the property.
A partir do dia 24 de Dezembro de 2017 - 26 de Dezembro de 2017 a estadia mínima é de 3 noites.
I am a career coach, specialising in transition and redeployment. I work almost fulltime whereas my husband, Terry, is semi-retired. I'm originally from the UK and he's a Kiwi - we discovered Tasmania when on holiday about 30 years ago - and decided it was the perfect place to live, work and bring up a family which is what we've done. For the past 26 years we had a small farm in the Huon Valley but have recently moved to town. We are loving living in South Hobart - it's like a little village but only minutes away from the bustle of Hobart. There are views, history, arts, culture, farming, bushwalking, crafts, fabulous food, yachts, markets.......the list goes on. We're sure you'll love it and we'll look forward to meeting you.
