Conveniently located in central Florence, a 10 minute walk from the Station and the main historical sites, this quiet, groundfloor flat with a private garden is on the edge of the lively San Lorenzo quarter with its bustling and historic market.
Built in the year in which Florence was the capital of Italy (1865), the flat has recently been renovated and modernized, although the original structure and features have been preserved. The flat is located in a quiet square with a private garden but is close to all of the sights of Florence, which are within walking distance. The flat consists of 1 double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a second bedroom with a double sofa bed, a dining room with an extra double sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen and a second bathroom. Being on the ground floor, it is suitable for disabled guests.
Acesso de hóspedes
Guests have access to a private garden with a vine-covered gazebo and a table for al fresco dining.
Interação com hóspedes
I’m very happy to provide information about Florence and places to visit. Also I can meet guests at the main Station, which is only a 10 minute walk away. I am a qualified teacher of Italian as a foreign language and I would be happy to organize lessons in the house and around Florence.
Outras coisas a ter em conta
Guests can park their cars near to the house in the paying carparks at Viale Lavagnini (a 5 minute walk) or the Fortezza (10-15 minutes).
We ask our guests to look after the flat and to respec our neighbours by not making noise early in the morning (before 08.00) and late evening (after 22.00), especially in the Garden.
Please only smoke in the garden.
You're welcome to bring pets with you, but please keep them in the garden for the duration of your stay
There is a Florence city tourist tax of 2.50 euros per night for all guests over 12 years' old, which should be paid in cash on arrival
I'm from Florence, but love travelling and meeting people from different parts of the world, so I will enjoy welcoming guests into my family house! I have spent several years living abroad, but my home is now in the countryside just outside Florence where I live with my family and my cats. My hobbies are pottery, photography and growing vegetables. In Florence, my favourite spots are the Markets of San Lorenzo and Sant' Ambrogio and also Santo Spirito. If guests are interested, I can be available to show you around Florence or for conversation in english or italian!
