It is a spacious property with a farmhouse style kitchen and a large comfortable viewing lounge upstairs, furnished in modern designer fabrics . There is wi fi and Sat TV. It has been our holiday home for the past 25 years We have discovered some fabulous beaches at Lachan and Kilcummin both being about 40 minutes away. Closer its ideal for walking , exploring, fishing and relaxing in our tranquil village.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

No. 58 is a very cosy two bedroom mid terrace house opposite McHale Park (GAA) in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. The downstairs living area consists of a kitchen/dining, sitting room, work station and utility leading to an enclosed rear yard where one can bask in the sunshine and relax ! McHale road is a very friendly community in a cul de sac and is a 15 minute walk to the town centre with shops, pubs and entertainment. It is also a 10 minutes walk from the train station.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
