Beyond the bay, Round Lake is renowned for boating, fishing, and swimming at the sandbars. Take one of our provided kayaks (there's 2 of them) and make your way to the nearby sandbar or just around the bay to take in the wildlife. If you enjoy winter sports like skiing or snowmobiling, the house makes an excellent home base

Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

You really get the best of both worlds here as the cabin is tucked away in a private, wooded area but is also walking distance to downtown Hayward and other attractions!!
