Cabin has fully stocked kitchen, fire pit, gas grill, & fireplace. Cabin also has a dart board, pool table, board games, and books. We hope you enjoy hiking, boating, fishing, or hunting at Cave Run Lake as much as we do!

If you are looking to explore all of the nature The National Forest and Cave Run Lake has to offer, visit Morehead or just relax on the porch, this is the perfect place for you!

The General, 2bdrm cabin with beautiful views

Setting back about 1/2 mile into our 375 acre farm is The General, a 2bedroom one bath cabin. It has many comforts of home such as electricity, heat/ac, running water. There is no wi-fi and cell phone signal varies however there is a tv w/antenna and a DVD/Blu-ray player. There is plenty of hiking both on our property or on Daniel Boone Forest which surrounds us. Laurel Gorge, Red River Gorge, Cave Run Lake and Grayson Lake are just a few attractions within short driving distance from us.

Backwoods Hideaway

Small cabin in the woods, lots of privacy, plenty of hiking, 2 minutes from sheltowee Trail, 30 minutes from Cave Run Lake, or just relax around the fire pit. This is camping in The woods, you will encounter, bugs, spiders, and many more insects and wildlife. Great place to relax, hunt, or just enjoy nature. Primitive, no Internet, TV, or phone. Generator on site available. Full size couch/bed, and small loft bed. Cabin has no electricity, or running water. Outside shower on the property.

Great for that fishing enthusiast or family getaway to be near local trails, Cave Run Lake, and other outdoor activities in the Daniel Boone National Forest.

A little bit of heaven in the hills of Eastern, KY. Located at Outpost Campground, a family-owned campground that offers a variety of amenities. These are very basic builds with posh decor. There is a porta potty on site and a fully equipped bathhouse on the grounds with showers and laundry. You will be located only 2 miles from a beautiful lake (Cave Run Lake) and LOTS of amazing hiking. We hope you come and hang out in our neck of the woods and enjoy the true beauty of Kentucky!

Numerous cabins available here plus more at our sister property, Cave Run Lodge! This cabin has a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Kitchenette includes mini fridge, Keurig, microwave & sink! Full bathroom. Charcoal grills & fire pit available for use! Please bring your own charcoal.

Shady Pines Sheltowee MSU Cave Run

Shady Pines Inn is a vacation rental located .7 mile from Exit 133 off interstate 64. Ten minutes to Cave Run Lake and Morehead. 3 bedrooms, king, queen & 2 twin beds, 2 new cots with memory foam toppers. 1.5 baths,living room with 2 couches & 3 chairs. Full kitchen, accessible tub/shower. Snacks, cereal/granola bars, oatmeal, donuts, bread, bagels, local eggs, coffee, tea. Any combination of these items will be offered.

The Cedar Shack

Enjoy Cave Run Lake or take a short drive (21ish miles) to Red River Gorge from our Tiny Cabin. Our Cedar Shack is a 12ft x 28ft with a 4ft porch, equipped with dual rocking chairs. The Cedar Shack is appropriately named as it is finished fully is cedar from floor to ceiling. Pets are welcome in most instances but they must be included in the guest list and there is a fee. No exceptions.
