There is one double bedroom and the second bedroom can be set up as twin beds or these can be joined together to make a super king, let us know which you would prefer. Little Gwendreath is a collection of four holiday cottages set within the Lizard national nature reserve in Cornwall. Our local beach, Kennack Sands, is 15 mins walk away and the South West Coast Path passes nearby.
Little Gwendreath Holiday Cottages is comprised of the main farm house built in the late 19th century and the cottages which were originally the farm outbuildings. Each of our cottages has two bedrooms with a double bed in the main bedroom and either a twin or super king in the second. Outside there is a private garden for each cottage and a laundry room for your use. Also inside the laundry room is a selection of leaflets about local attractions and a bookshelf should you need anything to read on your holiday. To the east is a small stream and path that leads down to the beach at Kennack sands. The area surrounding Little Gwendreath is a national nature reserve and a site of special scientific interest complete with rare species of flora and fauna. Kennack sands is divided into two beaches by Carn Kennack (a small hill). There are two café’s next to the beach and you can also learn to surf at Kennack Sands Surf School. The east beach is dog friendly.

A traditional Cornish stone built cottage, situated directly on the SW Coast path. Stunning, panoramic sea views and just 3 minute stroll into the unspoilt village of Coverack. Large double room with impressive sea views in a comfortable house full of period features. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Not suitable for children.
The cottage is situated on the South West Coast path and is therefore perfect for walkers. Stunning sea views in a traditional cottage full of period features. It is a 3 minute walk to the village, which has shops, cafes, restaurants and a pub. We serve a traditional English breakfast every morning - although all dietary requirements are catered for. We have parking. The house is very old and has uneven floors, steep stairs and the parking area behind the house is accessed by 2 flights of uneven, gravel covered steps - it is therefore unsuitable for small children. The bathroom and toilet are downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs.
It is very peaceful and beautiful in Coverack. It is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Although there is a very good pub, a couple of shops and a couple of very good restaurants in the village, Coverack retains it's timeless, unspoilt charm. Coverack is a very good base from which to explore the Lizard Peninsula - either by foot on the SW Coast path or by car. As we are on the Southernmost tip of England, you are almost guaranteed some sunshine every day - even in the Winter. The climate is very gentle and frosts are virtually unknown in Coverack. The village has been featured recently on the BBC 'Countryfile' programme.

My place is close to great views. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the location, the people, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
Just yards from the beach in this tranquil, quintessential Cornish fishing village, an enchanting detached stone studio. Close to beautiful coastal walks leading around the Lizard peninsula and along the shoreline of the Helford River. Full of character with a mezzanine double bed area enjoying glimpses of the sea, kitchenette, living area and a shower/utility room, packing everything one would need into a perfectly formed space. Ideally located with a tranquil part of Cornwall yet close proximity to the Helford River, Helston, Lizard Peninsula. Nearby attractions include Goonhilly, Trelowarren, Roskilly's and local diving at Polkerris. Great for short or long breaks away from the city. Ideal for those who want quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of work and traffic noise. From the Cornish meaning 'port at the end of the moor', Porthallow's history has always been inextricably linked with the sea. A former thriving Pilchard port, small fishing boats are still hauled onto the beach to this day. A number of buildings in the village also exhibit tell tale signs of the industry, if a little less obvious to the casual observer - The Association's Institute building is sighted over a former pilchard cellar! Set in the heart of the small fishing village of Porthallow with the beach is just a few minutes' walk away. The South West Coast Path is just 50 metres from the studio, offering excellent coastal views across Falmouth Bay to St. Anthony's Head, and a beautiful walk to Gillan Creek and the Helford River. Porthallow beach is used by local fishermen, and it is possible to drive onto the beach to launch canoes and dinghies. The local pub, The Five Pilchards, offers a warm welcome to visitors and there is a craft shop with locally made pottery. The village shops in St Keverne, just a couple of miles away, offer comprehensive supplies. The local wildlife is abundant, with buzzards circling over the valley and seals occasionally visiting the bay. The Old Stable is in probably one of the most peaceful spots in Cornwall, and offers the opportunity for a truly relaxing holiday by the sea.

  • Nós amamos ficar no The Old Stables!

Silvermere is a detached, three bedroomed, self catering bungalow by the sea in Coverack, South Cornwall. It is boarded by a stream, has direct sea views and parking for up to 4 cars and a small boat. There is a lovely, private, secure garden. We had a brand new kitchen installed in May 2017, and a second wc/shower room was finished in March 2018. The original garage/office in the garden was extended during the winter of 2017 to create a music studio & small flat.
The bungalow is usually rented by the week, Saturday to Saturday, in the summer and during school holiday periods, half terms, Easter and Christmas. It can be booked during term time and for shorter breaks, if there are gaps on the calendar, by prior arrangement only. In term times we can consider guests arriving Sat pm for 3 or 4 nights, or tues or wed to Saturday am. We can't normally do Fri to Monday breaks as this blocks off two complete weeks. However as I make the rules, I can also bend the rules, especially with last minute bookings, so please send me a message with any specific requests! We also don't normally consider any last minute reductions unless you have "extenuating circumstances". Silvermere can only be booked direct with AirB&B or the owner. No agencies are involved with the letting as this is a family home and not a cottage purely for self catering tourists. Guests have full use of all the amenities. We do allow the inclusion of one, smallish, well behaved pet by prior arrangement at an additional cost of £10 a night, payable in cash on arrival. As there is a music studio/practice room in the garden, only completed July 2018, guests now have the option to use this facility by booking a session in advance. Please ask Chris, the owner for further details. The soundproofed studio is not normally used with any loud amplified instruments or drums, while we have Airbnb guests staying. N.B. Silveremere can be booked for short breaks, out of season, at greatly reduced rates, to charities or small groups in genuine financial hardship, and in need of a holiday. Please contact Chris, the owner for more details.

Arriving at Headlands you can't help but say wow. Located on the SW Coastal Path 19 Headlands won't disappoint. Furnished in a simple rustic style, tucked behind the ex-Headlands Hotel, it has everything needed for a lovely break. As one guest wrote recently "loved it, simple but short of nothing, will definately book again”. The cottage is surrounded by walks and beaches. Stroll down the Headland to the village and you find shops, the Paris pub, some great restaurants and the harbour.
19 Headlands is tucked behind the ex- Headland Hotel. It's a perfect base to explore the surrounding area. Located on the beautiful south Cornish coast on Chynhall's Point it is on the famous SW Coastal path. Coverack itself is an amazing place. It's surrounded by wonderful walks and sandy beaches. From the cottage you can stroll down the Headland to the village (takes about ten mins) where you will find local shops, the friendly Paris pub, some great restaurants and the pretty harbour. 19 Headlands is a mid terrace two storey cottage located in the lovely and well maintained grounds of the ex-Headlands Hotel. Walk out of the front door, turn right a few steps into the gardens and you will be stunned by the view - its just amazing. The cottage is double glazed and has a spacious living room and kitchen. In fact when go there we often open a bottle of wine in the kitchen for the evening meal and that’s where we stay chatting about life, Brexit, Donald Trump or whether Abba are going to reform, amongst other topics! There are three bedrooms which are composed of two with double beds and one with a single bed. One of the bedrooms has a wonderful view of the Headland, the other two have nice views over the gardens. The Headlands communal gardens are for you to enjoy and have fabulous views. There are benches and grass spaces to have a picnic overlooking the spectacular sea and coastline. The gardens are great for just chilling out in and reading a book with the sound of the waves and birdlife to keep you company. At times you can see dolphins and seals playing in the sea. There is a TV in the house just in case you want to watch an episode of Poldark and why not its got some fabulous shots of Cornwall. 19 Headlands, as mentioned is a two story cottage and the whole property is for you to use. There is a communal tennis court also for you to enjoy. A minute away is the footpath to the private Mears beach which is accessed by walking down the headlands footpath - it takes around 8 minutes to reach it. At times the waves are good enough to surf and body surfing is a must. You will often see seals hunting fish in the surrounding coast as you approach the end point of the headlands. Sorry I can't be there to meet you as I live in Argentina (I use the cottage when I am in the UK ) however, I am very contactable if you book and we can communicate or email if you need anything. Also you will find the other owners very friendly and willing to help should you need to know anything. If there is an emergency I will give you a number to call and that person will sort out any problems that may occur in the property. The house is a part of the ex - Coverack Headlands Hotel complex. The main house was converted to apartments around 30 years ago. There are three original cottages and they were the workers housing when the hotel was in existence. Chynhall's Point, where the house is located is simply a beautiful location. Both the main house and cottages have been renovated this year (2018). As mentioned walk a few steps and you will have one of the most amazing views in the UK - simply stunning. Have breakfast in the gardens opposite the cottage overlooking the impressive coastline and you will probably still be there for lunch! Coverack village is a typical lovely Cornish village with its pretty harbour and sandy beaches. Here eating fish and chips on the harbour benches as the children jump from the harbour wall into the sea is a local pastime — try it, you'll love it, no matter how old you are! Have a pint in the friendly Paris pub and then a walk along the coastal village path - it will definitely sooth your soul. The area is famous for its walks and if that is why you want to come believe me you won't be disappointed - it's a walkers haven being located right on the wonderful SW Coastal Path. Coverack is also near to some spectacular sights such as the Lizard, Lands End, St Michael's Mount and Poldarks mine to name just a few. These locations are all within easy striking distance and believe me they are definitely worth visiting. Off course you could easily lose a week just staying around the cottage reading a book or two, going for a stroll every now and then before having an afternoon nap in preparation for the evening meal — bliss 19 Headlands has two allocated parking spaces. This is a real bonus as parking in the height of season in Coverack can be a tricky act. There is internet in the cottage. Please note . We provide bed linen and towels but please bring your own beach towels. The cottage has a stairgate , high chairs and travel cot.
Its just amazing believe me. The views, the beach the gardens, the harbour its all overwhelmingly beautiful

Also inside the laundry room is a selection of leaflets about local attractions and a bookshelf should you need anything to read on your holiday. The area surrounding Little Gwendreath is a national nature reserve and a site of special scientific interest complete with rare species of flora and fauna. Two double rooms are available with separate ensuite bathrooms in our house in a quiet rural location. Surrounded by trees and with an acre of private, secure garden, disturbances are minimal. A gravelled drive provides plenty of off road parking. A car is essential but 5 minutes drive away are the beach and harbour of the unspoilt village of Coverack, the historic village of St Keverne and Goonhilly Downs. There is easy access to many parts of the South West Coast path on the Lizard Peninsula
If you want a quiet place but within easy reach of all areas of the Lizard Peninsula, then our house is for you. As we are quite rural, Suzie and I will provide a light breakfast for our guests. Coffee and tea making facilities are in the bedroom. This room is on the ground floor and the ensuite bathroom is a wet room and suitable for a disabled person. An upstairs room appears as a separate listing
At the end of our lane are three farms, including two dairy farms with several hundred head of cattle. In wet weather, the roads near the farm can be quite muddy. The lane is single track with passing places so just be on the look out for tractors and other farm vehicles.

A beautifully decorated light and spacious one-bedroom flat with large private garden area and parking. The Dairy is just a short walk from the South West Coast Path and a string of beautiful wild beaches. One mile from the characterful fishing village of Coverack, with its sheltered sandy beach, windsurfing school, shops, pub and restaurants. Helen and Nick, your hosts, have lived in the area for 20+ years and are happy to share their local knowledge. We live next door with our young family.
A totally separate, fully self-contained guest apartment on one end of an attractive traditional farmhouse. It has been completely renovated to a high standard, including a large kitchen area with double doors opening into an attractive garden, with outdoor seating, BBQ, and surrounded by woodland and mature shrubs offering great privacy, while also benefitting from sun throughout the day and into the evening (in summer). It's accessed by its own path and separate entrance, so also enjoys privacy from the main farmhouse. (NB: guests have sole use of the kitchen, shower room and living room, as well as the bedroom of course). There's also a woodburning stove (firewood provided) for cosying up on cooler nights. Travel cot and high chair available on request.
This area is amazing for wild coastal walks and unspoilt beaches one way, but is also easy striking distance (about 30 minutes' walk/ 5 minutes' cycle) from the lively village of Coverack, which has a busy calendar of cultural events all year round. The Paris Hotel's pub garden is only a few meters from the sea, or wander down to the harbour to get the last of the evening sun and watch the local kids jumping off the harbour wall. Roskilly's Farm – makers of some of the best ice cream on the planet – is just up the hill, but their tiny Archie's Loft café overlooking Coverack Harbour means you can enjoy their ice cream (or paninis, salads, coffee etc) while watching the fishermen below land the day's catch. Popular spots like Cadgwith, Kynance Cove, Lizard Point and the Helford River/ Helford Village are all within approx 20 minutes from here. There are lots of great pubs and eateries in the area, and Falmouth is easy to get to for a day's shopping and exploring its hip cafés, bars and restaurants, galleries, and the National Maritime Museum. Nick and Helen are both experienced surfers and can arrange the loan of surfboards, an inflatable stand-up paddleboard and bikes for a small fee if desired. Helen is also a former Time Out travel journalist who has written numerous guides to Cornwall, and is happy to have her brain picked for recommendations!
