Cosy timber cottage with fireplace, sauna and the mountains round the corner. A good place for excursions, to find peace or to retreat.
The cottage has:
-Kitchen with a stove, microwave oven, fridge with a mini freezer and a fireplace.
-The cottage has electric floor heating and hot tap water.
-One bedroom for 3 persons (one bed is 120 cm)
-A toilet and a small entrance hall.
-A cosy wood fired sauna behind the house.

The cottage is easy to reach, just by the road in the village, which is situated at the roads end! Generally, it is very quiet round the house as there is hardly any traffic.
There is no wifi in the cottage, but the mobile services have good coverage (Telia, Halebop, Net1), so working from a distance is possible.
Within walking distance there is a nice waterfall and the river, which also has a delta land(the scenic pictures are taken there).
The wood fired sauna is used for cleaning up - bathing in the sauna is a soothing and relaxing experience! You carry buckets with cold water to the sauna (10m behind the house), where water can be heated in a container over the fire. Tap some hot water into a bowl, mix with some cold water if needed, pour over yourself. Fire wood for the sauna and the fireplace is included.
Max. 4 guests can stay in the cottage. The 4th person may share the lower bunk bed (120 cm) or stay on an extra camping bed in the kitchen.
Welcome to Winter wonderland! Kvikkjokk offers a beautiful mountain landscape with plenty of snow wintertime (until end of april), and is a good place for making day tours in the surroundings (on ski on snow mobile tracks wintertime, or by foot along the trails summertme).
Startting in the village, you may follow snowmobile tracks that follow the Kungsleden trail, Padjelanta trail or for ex. up to the mountain Snjerak, where you get stunning views towards the peaks in Sarek national park, the Tarra Valley and the deltaland near the village.
Wintertime, the river and windling channels of the delta land, are covered with ice and snow, and can be discovered on tour skis (but always check the ices, as some parts should be avoided at times of the year).
