Obrigado Judy!

Cook in the well equipped kitchen with some carefully selected recipe books, then collapse on the comfortable sofa and enjoy views over the walled garden and cosy up in front of the woodburner with logs sourced from the property. • Provavelmente o melhor AirBnb por aí. Lugar fantástico em uma localização fantástica. Lindamente elegante, com toques atenciosos e extremamente confortável. Definitivamente voltarei.

We have two rooms available, next to each other. We are surrounded by great Pubs and restaurants that we would be happy to recommend, including Soho Farmhouse a small 5-10 minute drive away.
Room 3 is the second of our two rooms. It is an ample double sized room and is very comfortable and well presented. The room has a lovely outlook and is quiet and peaceful. Our house is next to wonderful countryside walks with amazing views! There is a snug lounge for our guests. Offering T.V. B.T. Infinity for viewing movies etc and a wide selection of DVD's.
Our village is a small one on the edge of two valleys, amazing views and walks. The next village which is a mile away and can be walked has pubs and restaurants so you have no need to drive.

A brand new cabin in the grounds of our home. Fully insulated and heated with either air con or oil filled heaters. This fully self contained cabin is ideal for a short break or someone working away from home. There’s a shower room and kitchen equipped with counter fridge and combo microwave. A smart tv with Netflix and a good WiFi service.

The room is equipped with a rain shower, WC, heated towel rail, and washbasin. Alcove shelving provides space for personal items, or you can light tealight candles to create a distinctively spa-like feel. (Note: there is a step up into the Wet Room from the hallway.) Bedroom Three (bunkbed room) Overlooking the front garden, the bunkbed room is a fabulous room for children, with lots of space to sleep and play. The room has a play table and chairs, an A-frame blackboard with chalks, a mini rocking horse and a pirate’s toy castle! It is a bright and airy room, but blackout blinds as well as curtains will ensure a good night’s sleep! The bedroom has a wardrobe with chest of drawers, which also houses the iron and ironing board. The second wardrobe is an airing cupboard where guests will find a travel cot, baby changing mat and clothes airer. Upstairs Mezzanine Sitting Area Stairs lead up from the Living Room to a mezzanine level close to the eaves of the Quail House. At the top of the stairs is a delightful seating area, with a two-seater sofa, double pouf, table and lamp. Beyond the lawn, to the side of the entrance porch, is a patio with a small bistro-style table, chairs and a parasol. Raised borders with fragrant lavender bushes and other bee and bug-friendly plants wrap around the front of the house, providing a colourful border against the wooden frame of this beautiful 1750s barn conversion. Stepping out to the rear garden, which can be accessed through French doors in the Living Room, the Dining Area or the Master Bedroom, you will find a patio directly outside the dining area - ideal for enjoying an outdoor breakfast, lunch or supper. Step up to a raised lawn surrounded by an impressive Cotswold stone wall (at least 5ft high), then cross the lawn to another patio furnished with sofa seating and a large gas barbecue.
Local Amenities Shopping for Essentials Sandford St Martin is a beautiful but tiny Cotswold village, and so, as with many tiny villages, it does not have a pub or shop; however, there is a village shop in Middle Barton, just 1 mile away – great for an emergency pint of milk, loaf of bread and eggs. (The closest pubs are The Fox Inn, Middle Barton or The Falkland Arms, in Great Tew (2 miles). Chipping Norton is the closest place (8 miles) for supermarket shopping; there is a Co-op, a small Sainsbury’s and Aldi, all with parking. The town also has a good selection of independent stores, including two butchers, Nash’s Bakery, Oats the health food store and Roger’s Fishmonger. For a larger supermarket shop, try Banbury (10 miles away) where there is a Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Aldi. All the major supermarkets deliver to The Quail Cottage. Eating Out The Cinnamon Stick, in Middle Barton (1.5 miles away), is a Lebanese restaurant that gets very good reviews. Handy for takeout. Tel: 01869 340440 Baker Girl in Great Tew (2 miles away) is fantastic for coffee and delicious baked goods and The Falkland Arms, also in Great Tew, is very popular for lunch or dinner. Tel: 01608 682653. Tel: 01608 677262. Close to the village of Swerford (4.5 miles away) there are two pubs/restaurants worth visiting, The Boxing Hare and The Masons Arms. Guidebook: Chipping Norton In this Guidebook section we head over to Chipping Norton, just 8 miles from The Quail House. Tucked high up in Oxfordshire’s portion of the Cotswolds, Chipping Norton is a beautiful market town with an enviable reputation. It is the highest town in the region thanks to its stunning hillside location, with a rich history dating back to the 13th Century when it was known as a bustling wool-trading town; a heritage proven through the great wool church of St. Mary, known for its stunning interiors, and still sitting proudly at the heart of the town. Affectionately known by locals as ‘Chippy’, the town is now very much a bustling hub of culture; its thriving retail and culinary scene attracting visitors from all across the Cotswolds. A general market still takes place every Wednesday, and a Farmer’s Market is held on the morning of every third Saturday. The town is great for anyone looking to hunt for some local treats, with a plethora of independent retailers and antique shops to peruse. The town also has a good number of pubs, restaurants and cafes, whilst culture buffs will love the thriving theatre; a rare addition to a town of this size, famous for its annual pantomime and eclectic programme of music, theatre, dance and comedy. During the summer months, you can enjoy the Lido, a heated, open air, 25m pool (see below). Perfectly positioned to explore the north Cotswolds and Oxfordshire, there’s plenty on offer right on the doorstep to keep all ages entertained. Sightseeing & Activities Thanks to Chipping Norton’s rich heritage, there’s plenty on offer locally to see and do for culture vultures and history buffs alike. Start off by exploring the landmarks of the town itself. Take in the beautiful Town Hall (a proud symbol of the town’s former borough days), before visiting the Almshouses – one of the town’s key landmarks dating back to the first half of the 1600s, provided kindly by former resident Henry Cornish upon his death to house widows of the town. Chipping Norton Museum, located on the High Street, showcases memorable artefacts from throughout the town’s history dating all the way back to the Roman period, making it a great pit-stop for those keen to learn more about the town through the ages. Chipping Norton Theatre is also a must-visit, should there be anything that tickles your fancy playing during your stay. Further afield, the many sights and attractions of the wider Cotswolds will afford you plenty to see and do. Start off by heading to The Rollright Stones, an ancient stone circle spanning nearly 2,000 years of Neolithic and Bronze Age development located in the nearby village of Great Rollright. Just outside the town sits Bliss Tweed Mill, an impressive display of 19th Century manufacturing prowess, immediately recognisable by its iconic dome-based chimney, which makes it look more like a lavish mansion than a tweed mill. Now luxury apartments following its official closure in the 1980s, the mill is still well worth driving past as one of the town’s most famous visual landmarks. The National Trust’s Chastleton House and Garden, an ancient country house spanning 400 years of history, is also just a stone’s throw away in Moreton-in-Marsh, whilst the acclaimed Whichford Pottery is just a 15-minute drive for those in search of a pretty souvenir from their travels.

Renovated in 2018, the Granary is the third of three unique conversions of 17th Century farm buildings in the grounds of an historic old vicarage in tranquil Little Tew, on the edge of the Cotswolds. The Granary offers luxury, private and comfortable accommodation for a couple to use as a base to laze or explore.
The Granary is the conversion of a 17th Century Cotswold stone grain store, offering accommodation over the first and second floors. External stairs with views over the surrounding fields lead up to the Granary’s own front door. This leads straight into a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, featuring Belfast sink, dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven and all the equipment you could need to cook up and eat a feast; with views over the Granary’s dedicated garden, the dining table will comfortably seat four. Two steps, then passed the internal oak stairs through to the cosy sitting room with wood burner and plenty of logs. Flop into the sofa and doze the day away, watching the fire, the smart tv or listening to music via your device on the Bose speaker. Alternatively pen your first novel at the desk/daydream whilst enjoying views over the walled garden. If all this proves too much, head up the stairs to the King size, white linen bedroom nestled in the eaves. Once again totally private yet with views over the walled garden and surrounding countryside rural remedy is assured. A landing with wardrobe two more steps to a laundry cupboard, with washer/dryer leads you to the luxurious bathroom with freestanding cast iron bath and loo with a view to complete the accommodation.
Easily accessible from North and South but off the beaten track, Little Tew is a small village on the edge of the Cotswolds. Discover postcard perfect Cotswold towns and villages including Burford, Stow on the Wold and neighbouring Great Tew with chocolate box cottages and the local pub the Falkland Arms. Very close, yet far enough away from Soho Farmhouse dependent on how you see it. Well situated to learn more about academic and historic Oxford. Stately days out at Blenheim Palace. Some big name retail therapy at Bicester Village. Spa treatments and organic food from the worlds smartest farm shop at Daylesford. There's much to see if you want to get out there and plenty of home comfort if you don't.
  • Nós amamos a nossa estadia no celeiro.

Perfect (sanitised!) place to take cover. I am in isolation at the moment as I am 6 months pregnant but I can honestly say - it's not so bad! We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and walks where you can while away most of the day and won’t see a single soul! Bring some bikes and explore the glorious countryside that surrounds us. Great Tew Cricket Club is a wonderful spot for an outdoor HIIT session - with no one else using it. Local pubs are also offering great takeaways and deliveries.
Don't be put off by the exterior as this private annexe has a lovely bedroom with king size bed, sofa bed, and flat screen tv. There is a kitchen with oven, hob, kettle, toaster and fridge, a small living room with table and chairs and a sofa bed. A shower room plus toilet, sink, washing machine and tumble dryer We are working on a private south facing sun terrace for you at the back of the annexe, should be completed in 2 weeks We are located in between the quintessential village of Great Tew and Little Tew. Soho Farmhouse is within walking distance on a nice day. It takes 35-45 minutes across the fields. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and lovely walks all around. Takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the famous Falkland Arms pub in Great Tew. It's a cosy stay in an amazing location. The space is attached to our house, the annexe's hall has a door through to our kitchen which will be locked from our side. It is ideal for 2 people staying We can accommodate more people if needed
Beautiful location surrounded by lots of lovely walking and biking routes. The Great Tew cricket club is a short walk - great for an outdoor hiit session! The village green is always empty and has benches for some picnics. The Boxing Hare in Swerford, The Crown Inn in Church Enstone, The Thai Shire in Chipping Norton, The Tea Set in Chipping Norton, The Straw Kitchen in Wiggington and The Plough in Kingham are a few of the wonderful local places that have changed the way they serve and are offering takeaways or deliveries. On the 30th March Great Tew Village will welcome a new cafe- Quince and Clover. They offer super healthy and delicious salads and stew pots to take away. Along with coffee and cake and the most incredible ice cream. There are benches outside so you can grab your goods and have a little picnic!

Very clean bungalow, very quiet area. 20 minute drive from Bicester shopping village and 30 minute drive into the city however train takes 8 minutes. Train times attached. There is also a direct bus route. Tackley train station is a 3 minute drive away. Local pub also serves food and friendly environment. Lots of country walking routes. The bedroom has a double bed and Tv as well as hanging rail for clothes.
The North Oxfordshire village of Tackley lies in the Cherwell Valley, 8 miles North of Oxford and just 3 miles from the town of Woodstock. The name Tackley is probably derived from ‘tack’ (from the pre 7th century Danish ‘tacca’), meaning sheep or ewes, and the Anglo-Saxon ‘leah’ (-ley), meaning a glade, clearing or enclosure. As we often have sheep in the fields in the middle of the village it’s good to see that some things don’t change. Tackley has a great sense of community, most effectively demonstrated by the community run village shop. The village has a main line railway station, with regular trains to and from Banbury, Oxford and London, and is about 1 mile from the Oxford Canal. As you enter the village you pass St Nicholas Church, which has been there since Saxon times. A traditional green with a fine old oak tree forms the centre of the village. Tackley is a mixture of old cottages, converted buildings and modern houses, and a population of just under 1,000 residents.

A unique and beautifully designed barn with a large, open plan living area and a mezzanine sleeping deck. A recently built and timber clad, giving it a rustic and original feel. The barn comes with its own private landscaped terrace, providing excellent views over the fields beyond. Situated in the idyllic Cotswold village of Little Tew, a stone's throw from Soho Farmhouse.
There is a mezzanine sleeping deck with lovely round window looking over the orchard and fields beyond. This is accessible by ladder only, so please do not book this if this is at all challenging for you. The barn was designed to mimic a traditional barn with double crittal windows on opposite sides, allowing wonderful views and lots of natural light. The space downstairs has a long central table with a well-equipped kitchen area (comprising all the usual appliances) and a wetroom with a colourful encaustic tiled floor. The other end has a large comfy L-shaped sofa to relax on. There is a sound system which you can plug in any device and Sky, Netflix, Spotify etc are all accessible through the TV.
Little Tew is a pretty, quiet village in the Cotswolds. It has no shops or pub, so it is best to have some form of transport.

The cottage is located on our smallholding at the edge of the picturesque village of Steeple Aston.

Prepare a meal from tasty local ingredients, then relax in front of a film, or curl up with a book in the cozy sitting area. Please let us know if you prefer 2 twin beds, or a double bed.
Steeple Aston is an ancient settlement with roots going back to Roman times, maybe earlier. Today, with a population of around 1,000, it is a busy village with plenty to see and do. The village has its own shop and Post Office, Harris Stores, and a traditional pub and restaurant, the Red Lion. Steeple Aston is surrounded by the farmland of the Cherwell Valley, where many footpaths and bridleways provide access to beautiful views across the water meadows where the river, the Oxford Canal and the railway come together. Keen cyclists will enjoy the undulating landscape. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen. Kingfishers can be spotted by the river and canal and a wide variety of birds visit our smallholding and the surrounding fields.

About the village The quiet and quaint Oxfordshire village of Swerford sits on the River Swere, four miles north-east of Chipping Norton. The hustle and bustle of the more popular Cotswold towns and villages has by-passed Swerford, perhaps why it is so well-preserved and picture-perfect. The village was first recorded in the Doomsday Book (1086) when Robert D’Oyley (a Norman who accompanied King William during his invasion of England) became the local landowner. The remains of a 12th century motte and bailey castle is open for visits, as well as the 13th century St Mary’s Church - partly built from stones taken from the castle. Often referred to as a ‘village in two parts’, Swerford’s Church End and East End are separated by a mile of countryside known as ‘Between Towns’. Hillside Cottage is in East End. Walkers will enjoy the easily accessible network of local footpaths, including one direct from Hillside Cottage to The Boxing Hare, and a 2.5-mile walk to the pretty village of Hook Norton.
