This oceanfront beach cottage has a rustic exterior but opens up to expansive ocean and lighthouse views with a simple warm Scandinavian interior. On over two acres of prime oceanfront in Newport the setting is so private and serene yet all the amenities of Newport are just minutes away. Historic working bayfront, Nye Beach, restaurants, and world class Oregon Coast Aquarium are just a five to 10 minute drive. Modern kitchen with all new appliances and solid quartz counters is fully appointed with everything you need for cooking and serving. Working wood stove (wood not provided) as well as a 40" LCD TV with cable. Large deck extends views even further and provides exterior space to relax and enjoy the natural scenic Oregon coast. This cottage is completely private but is just a studio space - no separate bedroom. We can allow one child in addition to two adults but there is only one queen bed. FREE WI-FI NOW AVAILABLE MINIMUM STAY FROM JUNE - SEPTEMBER IS FOUR NIGHTS.     Come to historic Nye Beach! Our little cottage is a short walk to anything you want; the beach, Newport Performing Arts Center, brew pubs and restaurants, and an array of quaint boutiques. The cottage is simple but clean and self-contained. It has a super comfy queen bed (memory foam topper) in the bedroom and a full size futon in the living room (which comes with an extra pad for comfort). Buy groceries (the store is just a few blocks away) and cook your own meals in our fully equipped kitchen. Bring your dog, your kids or just yourselves for a relaxing beach get-away!
    You have use of the whole cottage, one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen and living room with laundry facilities. Sleeping arrangements are one queen bed in the bedroom and one full-size futon in the living room. FYI the shower has a low ceiling so if you are over 6ft tall you will have to duck. Also there is no local TV but there’s lots of content to watch on the Apple TV.     Keypad digital entrance. Safe, Quiet Neighborhood. Walk through a common hall to your private Studio. Perfect for a couple, family, or work. No outlet covers. No cleaning fee, but please leave it tidy. Partial ocean view. Private off-street parking. Fragrance free. 99.9% fully remodeled. This space has a queen bed plus Pottery Barn standard couch, not a hide-a-bed, which could be used as single bed.
    Safe small town. 2 min drive to the Bay or Nye. Beach access walk 1200 ft, then a quick 2 min walk on the beach to Nye. ***Yummy Bowl is open for take-out and Delivery. Best Asian food in town, despite the silly name.** Excellent restaurants both directions. The waves are fantastic this time of year as well as beach-combing from here to Nye. Hatfield Marine and Science Center is Hands-On & Free, donations welcomed, nearby the aquarium. Try South Beach Market’s fish and chips. Substitute salmon. Shh this place is a local favorite. Mo’s is a must for a bowl of their clam chowder. The seals are back in The Bay! Their barks will lead you to their free observation wharf next to Clearwater-fun watching them interact. Krazy K’s at the Bay for a kid-size cone the size of an adult, featuring BJ’s ice cream if Nye. The Bay has great candy stores too! Yaquina Head Lighthouse is gorgeous at sunset. Come enjoy!

Located on the second floor, this condo complex has an elevator for ease of access. Two TVs, both with cable and a DVD player, along with a CD player in the living room, are available for guest use. There are also plenty of books and board games for storm watching days or a cozy evening in. You'll have plenty of fun things to do in Newport, such as the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Newport Bay Front, the Hatfield Marine Science Center, Marine Discovery tours, whale watching trips, deep sea fishing and so much more! Two blocks to the beach, Yaquina Bay Bridge, and Yaquina Bay State Park. Walking distance/very short drive to Newport's historic neighborhoods: the Bayfront and Nye Beach. Perfect for couples, friends, and families.
    The guesthouse was formerly Newport Lost Buoy Hostel--a small micro-hostel that hosted over 1,000 people from over 30 countries in one year! Since then, we've fallen in love with Airbnb (though still dream of opening a bigger hostel one day...). Decorated with driftwood, agates, buoys, and other treasures from the beach, the guesthouse also celebrates the love of adventure, travel, coffee, and music.     SOUTH BEACH South Beach is a community in Lincoln County along the Pacific coast at Yaquina Bay. The history of South Beach dates back to the early 1900s and is surrounded by the neighboring cities of Newport and Seal Rock. Situated next to the Yaquina Bay Bridge is South Beach State Park, which is one of Oregon’s largest and extends from the Bay Jetty south to the camping and no-fee day use areas. Along with several walking and biking trails, the park offers other activities like fishing, crabbing, boating, surfing, and beachcombing. Attractions nearby include the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, marine life exhibits at the Hartfield Marine Science Center and the Oregon Coast Aquarium.     This is a perfect suite, with beautiful furniture and great décor! The suite has separate entrance. suite is the only living space on this floor, super Private. The entrance is on the lower level of the main home. Relax and enjoy the beautiful coastal port. Private bathroom with a jetted bathtub/shower. Private sitting room w/sofa off of the bathroom. TV w/satellite. The amazing bed is new & super comfortable. Perfect blend of relaxation and close to all the Oregon Coast has to offer.
    The suite has everything you will need including comfortable bedding and very comfortable! Plenty of space to park 1-2 cars, completely secure and in an upscale neighborhood. Security provided by Vivint. Close to the water and all that the historic bay front has to offer. Shopping, wonderful restaurants, and sea life galore. We are UNABLE TO HOST GUESTS WITH ANY ANIMAL-due to severe allergies! This includes service animals-we are exempt under conditions by Airbnb discrimination policy.
    It's a 5-10 minute walk down to the active bay front of Yaquina Bay. Beautiful and peaceful! We are in an awesome location! Winter storms are impressive and the summers are beautiful. Pick mushrooms or berries, beach comb or whale watch, clam, crab, fish or just relax.......its up to you. Newport is full of awesome restaurants and things to do, Nye Beach, the bay front, Hatfield Marine and the Oregon Aquarium, just to name a few. Great location to stay for Newport's Marathon route and where it ends is a stones throw below our neighborhood.

  • Nós amamos esta suite. A unidade do aeroporto de Portland para Newport é absolutamente lindo. A bela casa está situada na colina com vista para a baía, com uma vaga de estacionamento ao lado do deck de madeira que leva à entrada privativa da suíte. Nós estávamos lá para um tipo de semana de relaxar, e é exactamente isso que temos. Espaço muito limpo e privado. Tem uma casa de banho de tamanho completo, bom tamanho quarto (cama confortável), e pequena área comum agradável. Newport's Bayfront and marina on the Yaquina Bay is a short walk (or drive) from here, as is the ocean and the bridge. This place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. You aren't renting the whole house, but a private room. The owner lives in the same house,.. and occasionally another guest will stay in a different private room.

  • A casa de Steve fica ao lado da US-101 e ao norte da ponte de Newport, com vista para a ponte e a baía. Do Bay Room, poderíamos ver um pouco da água, mas uma curta caminhada até o Bayfront rendeu o resto! O lugar foi fácil de encontrar, limpo e tinha tudo o que precisávamos, a partir de uma chave pendurada na porta do nosso quarto, para direções para acesso wi-fi no quarto, alguns copos de água e alguns chocolates ao lado da cama, e recomendações para coisas para ver e lugares para comer. Embora não tenhamos aproveitado como estávamos em uma longa viagem e escolheu para descansar e nap, Steve é mais do que dispostos a ser um guia de turismo para os hóspedes. Como era julho 4º nós escoltamos os outros convidados que ficam no outro quarto enquanto nós estávamos lá para o melhor lugar para ver os fogos de artifício. O preço foi realmente razoável e fomos capazes de facilmente voltar à estrada para continuar a nossa viagem na manhã seguinte. Uma coisa que eu definitivamente queria mencionar é como ele era comunicativo como anfitrião. Ele queria ter certeza de que ele estava pronto para nós e que tínhamos instruções para entrar no lugar. Ele sempre respondeu em poucos minutos no aplicativo. Um grande obrigado Steve por abrir sua casa para nós.

    Our family vacation home is an hour from our residence and located a few miles south of Newport, Oregon in a quiet coastal community. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath house is situated on a large lot surrounded by trees, fern and beach grass - where the Coastal Rainforest meets the Ocean Cliffs. It is only a few minute's walk to the Private Beach Access.
    Since it is our family beach house, we keep it fairly well stocked, furnished and clean so that we can simply pack our bags, drive there and walk in to a fresh, comfortable and inviting cabin in the woods. As a guest in our home, we're hoping you will enjoy all of the following (while being respectful neighbors in our small community). Features include: 2 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms Jetted Tub in Master Bath Vaulted Ceilings Gas Fireplace Full Kitchen Satellite TV + VCR + DVD Easy Paved Beach Access There are 2 queen-sized beds in the bedrooms and 2 single-sized rollaway beds. Pillows, comforters, sheets, blankets and towels are all provided. The kitchen comes fully stocked with pots and pans, utensils, dishes, etc. Appliances include: range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster oven, and coffee maker. There are over 100 videos to choose from (G through R rated), about 50 CDs, a CD player, books, games, puzzles, coloring books and crayons, telephone, washer and dryer, deck chairs and a barbecue grill. We work hard to make sure our Newport, Oregon family vacation home feels like more than just another rental.

We wish you all the best! The cabin beach access is private to our very small neighborhood, making it a very quiet beach! Most guests who stay write us to say they had it entirely to themselves! If you need to get away from it all, come relax on Holiday Beach! The cabin's kitchen includes a full sized fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, crockpot, rice cooker, utensils, pots & pans, a Keurig, and welcome goodies for your stay. The bedrooms include a king sized bed and queen sized bed. Both have extra blankets and pillows for your comfort. Although the cabin is better suited for up to 4 guests, a queen sofa bed is also available for larger groups with a max occupancy of 6. The cabin has 2 bedrooms. One is an enclosed loft at the top of the stairs. The bedroom with the door closes between the two rooms giving both privacy. Just added November 2019: balcony off top level bedroom (great ocean view), & new bigger deck off living room! Cabin entry is up a flight of stairs and bedrooms are up another flight. As it is a multilevel A-frame, the stairs are steeper than an average set of stairs. Some winter days bring in coastal storms! If you love to be cozy inside while listening to a coast storm rage outside, you will love this space during a storm! I love to cozy up with a fuzzy blanket and a hot cup of tea and enjoy a nice fire or movie during a winter storm. The bedrooms in the cabin can get extra loud when it's pouring rain and extra windy, as they are on the top floor right in the tip of the A. We've always enjoyed the sounds of rain and wind crashing on a cold winter night. We are happy to host your pets (2 max), but we ask that you please keep them off the furniture and beds. Thank you.
    South Beach is a great area of the coast with lots to do. It's a very popular beach for agate hunting, with 7 miles of continuous beach. Just north is the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Rogue Brewery, the Newport Bayfront, Hatfield Marine Science Center, South Beach Fish Market (try the fish & chips!), South Beach State Park, Newport Fishing Pier (catch Red Rock crab, Dungeness, or fish Rockfish), Aquarium Village (great for kids, fun beach shops, a bounce house, food etc), and the Wilder Community which includes Wilder Disc Golf Course, numerous biking and walking trails, Wolf Tree Brewery & Taproom, and a coffee shop. Just south is Seal Rock, which boasts large off-shore rock formations which are the habitat of seals, sea lions, sea birds and other marine life. The wayside includes interesting tide pools as well as excellent ocean views and a sandy beach.

    An oceanfront cottage with stunning beach views in a peaceful and quiet setting awaits any Newport vacationer anxious to see Oregon's underpopulated Beverly Beach. Whales can often be seen through the windows or from the deck. There is beach access which is shared with nearby cottages. The trail begins just north of the cottage. It is fun and adventurous for the agile hiker on the lower part of the trail.
    Quaint and a bit rustic cottage with million dollar views of the ocean. From the deck one can see the Yaquina lighthouse to Cape Foulweather and Otter Rock (180 degrees).The cottage sits on the ocean bluff, about 120 feet above the beach, for spectacular unobstructed views from morning to nightfall. You will be amazed by the views, sounds, and ocean smells! Bring binoculars! You may find it alluring to just sit looking for whales and other wildlife (occasional Bald Eagles). Whales may be viewed from the cottage throughout the day. The Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area boasts a permanent population of many grey and also migrating whales. Orcas can occasionally be seen as well. The whales come very close to the coastline due to a reef (about a quarter mile out). The location is quiet and private, with a rural feel, yet just a few minutes by car to all the attractions, restaurants, and services. The home is very clean, well furnished and maintained, with a complete kitchen, washer, and dryer. Tea, coffee, water and a few snacks are provided for your convenience.

Located about five miles south of Newport, in South Beach, this home is close to the ocean so you can hear the waves crashing on the shore and hear the gulls. The easiest beach access is about two miles south at Ona Beach State Park, which also has parking, picnic areas, a boat launch on the creek. If you feel like heading into the city, Newport is less than 10 minutes up the road, and Lincoln City is a scenic 35-minute drive north. This one-bedroom, one-bathroom home is well-suited for two visitors, though it can accommodate up to three as long as one person is willing to sleep on a sofa. The living room is a cozy space, complete with a wood-burning fireplace, TV with cable and DVD player, a shelf of books, and a sliding glass door that allows great views of the sea. There's even a turntable and a selection of records! A retro kitchen may look compact, but it has all the necessities. This home even has a laundry area, which will come in handy after a few days of playing on the beach. Down the hallway is a full bathroom with an old-fashioned bathtub and shower. With limited counter space!and one small tables with chairs and couch and love seat also counter with bar stools, we have games to play and it does have a DVD player so you can rent movies if you want and watch, very comfortable and lots of room if you have a small family beats a hotel room for sure!! bring slippers,socks floor is tile! O local era limpo e bem decorado, com tudo o que precisávamos para uma estadia agradável. Apesar de não haver uma cozinha completa, os dois refrigeradores mantinham o que precisávamos e o microondas fez o trabalho para nós. Ame o Keurig! Gostei de ter as áreas de banheiro dividido e muitas toalhas. A mesa na área da frente foi ótima para usar nosso computador e sair. A localização é fantástica para caminhar até a praia e o Bayfront, o que fizemos todos os dias. No geral, boa visita a Newport, nosso lugar favorito no planeta.

    A very clean, comfortable room with a private entrance, private bath, king-sized bed, beautiful view, great natural light, and a private deck overlooking the forest and wetlands with the bay in the distance. Included are a large private bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, WiFi, TV with cable. We’re a small working llama farm only a 4-mile drive from the ocean in a rural setting overlooking a Nature Conservancy.
    The private suite is attached to the main house. There are no shared spaces except for the driveway. You have a private entrance, private bath, and private deck. The deck overlooks a beautiful forest and wetlands that are owned by The Nature Conservancy. The light and landscape are perfect for artists who paint. Enjoy nature walks and biking without having to drive, and there are dozens of other trails for hiking and biking within 5 to 30 minutes. There is a popular kayaking area 15 minutes away. The Oregon Coast Aquarium and Hatfield Marine Center are 25 minutes to the north, Cape Perpetua is 25 minutes to the south, and the Heceta Head Lighthouse is 40 minutes away. Feed our llamas by hand if you like!
    We are located in a beautiful valley on the north side of the Alsea Bay. We are on a gravel road that runs next to the bay. Our nearest neighbors are a quarter of a mile away, but you can't see their homes. The room looks out over a forest and wetlands.

  • Lugar incrível, fica em cinco acres que tem uma vista incrível da floresta. Os lamas são muito legais e um rebanho de alces deve viver em algum lugar próximo, porque vimos pelo menos um rebanho duas ou duas manadas diferentes. O anfitrião já pensou muito. O local dos armários para alimentação fica a cerca de 8 km, mas tudo bem, porque o anfitrião tinha lanches e coisas rápidas que poderiam ajudar você, se necessário. O local tinha uma varanda privada que dava para a fazenda e a floresta. Então você podia ver os alces do baralho ou os lamas. A parte de trás da casa parece parte do pasto dos lamas. Você também pode ver a parte de trás da gigantesca porta de vidro deslizante. O banheiro também é muito grande, o que é bom para se preparar de manhã, se houver dois de vocês ou mais. O WiFi funcionou muito bem para planejar o seu dia na cidade e eles têm um prato para quando você deseja relaxar após um dia de passeios turísticos.

Nossos 2 primeiros dias foram ensolarados e agradáveis e nosso último dia foi ventoso e chuvoso (que eu amei os sons do vento e da chuva), é um pouco fora do caminho batido da estrada principal. Vale a pena a poucos minutos extras. Você pode ver um pacote de Elk nos campos como nós vimos. Chuveiro agradável e banheira de hidromassagem separada área de banho muito espaçosa. Cama aconchegante com tv e uma máquina de ruído branco, se quiser. Amei o azul iluminado torneiras e banheiros e arrumada cozinha com lanches café e chá. Eu adoraria ter um pouco de gelo disponível, mas havia água fria e bebidas no frigobar disponível. Tivemos uma ótima estadia e desfrutamos da paz e tranquilidade.

    My place is close to the ocean, the bayfront, the science museum and the aquarium. You’ll love it here because of the views and the area.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. You aren't renting the whole house, but a private room in the house. The owner lives in the same house,... and occasionally another guest will stay in another private room.
    Although it shows no breakfast, there is coffee, tea, bagels and toast.

World-renowned museums, the Oregon Aquarium, and Rogue Brewery await, only 2.5 miles away just south of the bridge. Newport’s Bay Front, starts at the USCG station (1 mile south) and works it’s way east past wonderful shops, galleries, and eateries that are “to die for".
