Completamente recomendado.

Our cottage is a cosy converted blacksmith's workshop in the ancient Cornish town of Marazion - home to St Michael's Mount & in Poldark country! One of the oldest properties in Marazion, the cottage is just off the main street and the SW coast path.
The Old Forge is a cosy converted granite blacksmith's forge in the beautiful Cornish seaside town of Marazion, with exposed stone walls, real wood flooring and a cast iron log burner (perfect for snuggling up in front of!) as well as a range of beautiful original features including the old blacksmith's shop front, deep window seats in the thick granite walls and even a lintel made from a reclaimed ship! It has a new, fully equipped and beautiful country kitchen with wooden worktops, an electric range cooker, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and Smeg fridge-freezer, and a bathroom with a cast iron roll top bath with electric shower over. There is a farmhouse dining table and 4 chairs in the living room. The property has two bedrooms - a double and twin. The double room features an old exposed chimney breast and velux windows - perfect for stargazing on a warm summer evening. The twin room has a beautiful exposed granite wall and original wooden beam. Marazion is on the South West coast path with beautiful beaches (including a dog-friendly year-round beach) great for walking and bathing, and famous for windsurfing and kitesurfing. A 5 minute walk through the old main street of Marazion, the town centre features several fantastic pubs and restaurants, including the exceptional Ben's Cornish Kitchen (winner of the Cornwall Life Food & Drink Award 2014), the Godolphin Arms and a number of cosy pubs including The King's Arms (highly recommended for a Sunday roast), The Cutty Sark and The Fire Engine Inn. We are very happy to welcome guests with a well-behaved dog (or two!) however please bear in mind that the property does not have a garden (although there are several patches of grass and a playing field within a 30 second walk of the front door). We can also recommend some fabulous walks - all tried and tested by our labrador, Moo. We run an eco-conscious cottage so, as far as possible, everything provided in the cottage (where applicable) will be local, organic, environmentally-friendly and/or Fair Trade. We really love sharing our little cottage with other people and are very grateful for having such lovely guests who take good care of it during their stay. If anything does get damaged or broken during your stay please do let us know ASAP - we really don't mind (these things happen!) however we often have guests checking in the same day you check out and knowing in advance means that we can make sure items are fixed or replaced before our next guests arrive. Please note: There is no allocated parking provided however you will be able to park very close to the house on one of the adjoining, unrestricted roads. We are very close to the sea here so in the spring and summer it's not uncommon for the seagulls to start their morning chorus quite early! We've tried asking them to wake up a bit later however this doesn't appear to have worked as yet . . .

A cosy but bright log cabin , in a sylvanian setting, just yards from a public bridleway alongside the River Cober. **Please Note - the price per night is for the first guest only. Additional guests are charged at a marginal extra cost ( shown in "Pricing" > "Extra charges " on the Airbnb site) Thank you :) ** ** NEW OCTOBER 2018 - NEW 4'6" double bed ** Sleeps 4 comfortably (one 4' 6" double bed, 1 single bed in a bedroom, 1 single bed in a curtained area) ...read more in details
"The cabin" is a log cabin, in an idyllic rural location, just a few yards from a small river, with stepping stones to a tree-lined public bridleway. It is very close to my own dwelling, but not intrusive, either way. It accommodates a maximum of 4 people. A cosy, but airy log cabin with one separate bedroom (1 single bed with another underneath it, to pull out if needed....but NB, this leaves no floor space ) a main room, open to the apex, with a 4' 6" double bed, a curtained area, offset to one side , with a single bed. The shower and toilet room is in an adjacent building (4 steps away) together with a separate kitchen/ dining room. Included in the price is electricity, water, linen, towels ( please bring your own beach towels) , basic kitchen cleaning equipment, tea, coffee, condiments and of course toilet tissue. Also soap and shampoo . There is a hair dryer in the cabin and a cooling fan can be provided if needed ( for those few tropical days/ nights...) There is access to a small paved garden area at the rear of the cabin, with chairs and a patio table This is quite private and just for your use. There is a small washing line , solely for your use, right outside of the cabin. There is access to a washing machine and tumble dryer (for a small extra charge via an honesty box) Also there is access to a small freezer. Our front garden is solely for our own family use. I will happily help you with any questions or recommendations , but I am equally happy to completely respect your total privacy. Our neighbourhood is beautiful, peaceful and calm, with just a few passing dog walkers and horse riders throughout the day, along the bridleway. It is a hamlet of about 80 dwellings, with a small library, converted from a telephone box! I know if you choose to holiday here, you will be keen to maintain the peace and tranquility. There is parking just for you (1 space) close to the cabin. There are no buses in Lowertown, but there are buses from Helston town, to visit The Lizard Peninsular, Truro, Falmouth, Penzance and Lands End areas. There are train stations in Falmouth, Penzance, Camborne, Redruth and Truro, to take you further "up the line" Included in the price is electricity, water, linen, towels ( please bring your own beach towels) , basic kitchen cleaning equipment, tea, coffee, milk, condiments and of course toilet tissue. There is a hair dryer in the cabin and a cooling fan can be provided if needed ( for those few tropical days/ nights...) there is a travel iron and ironing board in the kitchen area. There is a mini oven with two hob plates, in the kitchen. ( NOT A MICROWAVE) Please note the approximate internal area of the log cabin ( so the sleeping area ) is 20 square metres .
I love the tranquility of the neighbourhood. You can just about hear the river winding through the woods, the buzzards calling to each other , the green woodpecker calling........very little else.

A água quente é virtualmente instantânea e poderosa.

Obrigado novamente, Abby, Aston e Little Nito xx

Hayle is dominated by the spectacular 3 miles of golden sands that stretch north towards Gwithian Towans and Godrevy Lighthouse. A quite stunning beach that offers opportunities for sunbathing and surfing. When the wind is blowing, watch out for the windsurfers, particularly in the waves at the northern end of the beach. This is one of the best windsurfing spots in the country. Paradise Park is always popular with both adults and children with their fantastic collection of rare birds and animals. There is also a good indoor play area if the weather gets bad! St Ives, once a busy fishing village, now relies on tourism as its main industry. Turner came and painted a landscape in 1811 and art has played a part in St Ives history ever since. More recently Barbara Hepworth and the Tate Gallery have put St Ives on the modern map. The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden is an amazing place to visit, and well worth it even if you're not a budding artist. Trewyn Studios where she lived and worked from 1939 until her tragic death in 1975 has been turned into a fantastic museum, depicting many of her favourite sculptures in the sub tropical garden, is now managed by the Tate. The Tate Gallery St Ives was built in 1993 on the former gas works site displaying various paintings, sculptures and ceramics. From Penzance you can take the Scillonian for a day trip to the picturesque Isles of Scilly, well worth a visit if you have never been. 10 minutes down the road lies Marazion famous for St Michaels Mount, home to a medieval castle and a working local community.
