“Bondi is obvious and go there plus Clovelly and any beach in Sydney really. You can also get the ferry to Manly from Watson's Bay (down the road). But I really like the Harbour beaches and the walks near by. So I would give those a go. It is this unique balance of beach and city views. Neilson Park is my fav. You can walk there from mine and get a bus back up the hill. Or get an Uber pool for $5. Take my esky and chair if you like. While there, take a walk and you will get stunning views of the Harbour icons. The cafe at Neilson park )which is actually a bay) has good coffee and sandwiches so you don't need to bring much. Plus they have beer.”

“The delightful Riverside walking track meanders through natural bushland and a string of picturesque picnic areas in Lane Cove National Park, just north of Sydney CBD. Enjoy a weekend getaway without leaving town and introduce the kids to the simple pleasures of birdwatching and wildlife-spotting.”
