Perfect for an individual or couple visiting the Victoria area for pleasure or business. Spacious, quiet, and comfortable and includes a peaceful back garden with lots of nature.
The neighborhood is on the edge of town just off the city's loop with easy access to most anywhere in the area including the mall and shopping, grocery, and dining. It's very quiet and safe. There is a little park with a walking path across the main road.

Relax in a hammock and watch cows graze on 20 acres. Just 8 miles from downtown Goliad with shops, bars and restaurants. Goliad Brewery or Schroeder Dance Hall, 2nd oldest in Texas just 10 miles. We DECON everything and Ozone machine kills virus.
765 square feet. There are board and card games and a Washers game. A tree swing for the little ones. A hammock if you want to just relax under the mesquite tree and smell the Passion flower blooms. A barbecue pit is available. No Smoking inside but may use balcony, porch and patio. Back porch table has a beer bucket to ice down beverages. Must be able to climb stairs. We are on Septic system and produce our own well water so there are a few rules to help keep things running efficiently. Come see our sky at night and pick out constellations. We are Biker friendly! Bikes may be parked inside garage. Water hose and towels available to wash bikes. Must love animals or be open to the experience as there are 3 farm dogs on property and 5 cats, 2 horses, cows and chickens.

This is a fisherperson's, birding, and ocean lover's dream come true. The small waterfront cabin is on an elevated point overlooking beautiful Matagorda Bay and has its own private, lighted fishing pier. Redfish, Speckled Trout, Drum, crabs and other saltwater fish are abundant around the pier. Ocean-going ships slowly navigate the Matagorda Ship Channel. Dolphins and sea birds are everywhere. Salt air, ocean breezes, gentle waves and star filled nights are the ultimate stress reliever.
The small cabin is fully furnished, clean and comfortable. It is not fancy and would be most enjoyed by true fisher persons and outdoor lovers. Most people will want to be outside.
Indianola is a historic little fishing community that was once a hub of activity in the 1800's. Hurricanes have changed it over the last 150 years.

WIFY and Direct TV. We provide continental breakfast: 4 miles from Cuero. Several great local restaurants. We have 4 museums. We are pet friendly! $15 for each additional guest. If your pet sheds we may charge $10 pet fee.
We are on a 100 acre ranch and enjoy porch sitting with views to courtyard and west for sunsets. As our guest, you are invited to grill outdoor with us (b.y.o. steak!), enjoy the courtyard, or a a walk/run down our country lane. We are fourth generation ranchers on the property and cross Beef master and Black Simmental Cattle for the commercial market. Come see!
Four families live on our unpaved lane. Rolling hills, improved pasture land, stocked with cattle. Approx. two miles from "Corner Store" which sells gas and more. Grill serves best catfish in area; also beer and wine.

Awesome place to change your scenery while keeping social distance. Las Casitas on Magnolia Beach-Casita A it's a triangular shaped cottage with 2 bedroom/1 bath, full Kitchen, comfy beds, Roku TV on each bedroom with great views of the Bay, Wetlands and Bayous. It's only 300 steps to the shore, 1 mile to free boat ramp, 1/2 mile to public beach and a short walk to the public pier.
Since usually our area is not crowded plus rigorous sanitizing procedures, guests feel safe through their stay.
This charming two bedroom, one bath Casita has everything you need to have an awesome getaway to the Texas Gulf Coast. Being that Casita A is only 300 ft to shore of Matagorda Bay allows our guest to enjoy amazing views of Sunrises over the Bay, Sunsets over Marsh Land, sightings of dolphins and many varieties of birds. Having a Queen Size Bed on each bedroom and a wide sectional couch in the Livingroom our beautiful Casita may accommodates 5 adults OR 4 adults/2 children.
Magnolia Beach is a tucked away community that is perfect to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Driving down Ocean Drive will give you a sense of being in a peninsula with the Bay on one side and Marsh Land and Bayous on the other side. The spotting of a variety birds or dolphins is unreal. This is a true disconnect type of place, so even though is ideal for fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, biking, birding and so on you will need to bring your gear.

San Antonio bay is known for great fishing. Redfish, Black Drum and Flounder are a common catch. You can enjoy the scenery of the Harbor area where you will see the Shrimp boats docking with their days catch.

The Great Texas Water Safari
They don’t call the Texas Water Safari The World's Toughest Canoe Race for nothing. It is 260 miles of non-stop paddling! Originally started in 1963 and held every year in June. This marathon begins at Aquarena Springs in San Marcos and Seadrift is the host to this grueling race's finish line.
Shrimpfest
Originally started by a group of women back in the 1980's to raise money and community support for their husbands whose shrimping livelihoods were jeopardized by state legislation. The little fundraiser to fight state government regulations has grown into a yearly community event and is held in early June of each year.

The Barndo is fully furnished, and just a few blocks from the bay front, restaurants, and grocery stores. While the Barndo is very comfortable, we have an outdoor living area with BBQ and fire pit for outside fun. If you do a bit of fishing, our fish-cleaning station is available day and night.
Seadrift is a quiet little town, and the Barndos are just a few blocks from the Bay Front. On Bay Ave. you'll see the public pier, a pavilion, a play ground, and boat docks, also a free public boat ramp and a paid boat ramp (if you brought your own boat with you). At the boat docks you can see the shrimp and oyster boats and you can purchase fresh bait for your fishing adventures, or fresh shrimp/oysters/crab for your table when in season.

Open concept kitchen, living and sleeping area. Walking distance from beach/crabbing bridge. Large screened-in porch with ceiling fan - no need to hastle with pesky mosquitoes! If you're not fishing or beach-combing (my favorite), the porch is the best place to be by far!
I love this place but can't be there all the time, so you will reap the benefits. It's a work in progress - improvements will be made each year.
Just a 10 minute drive to the famous Indianola Fishing Marina!
If you've ever been to the Gulf Coast, you know mosquitoes can be a big problem. This house has a large screened-in porch that allows you to enjoy the wildlife as well as the ever-changing weather without worrying about bugs!

SuperhostA lodge and 3 cabins nestled among old oak trees, Twisted Oaks Ranch is the place to go to for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. A visit to this little piece of paradise will give you the opportunity to unwind from the busy-ness of life. Go for a stroll through the woods, sit on the front porch and watch the sun set or enjoy a fire in the outdoor kitchen. Two lakes surround the lodge where you can cast a line for bass or catfish. You may even see deer and turkey in the evenings.
A short walk from the lodge sits 3 cabins tucked away in the woods. These cabins are available as part of the lodge, or for larger parties. They have running water, full bathrooms, mini fridges, coffee pots, but no full kitchen.
Twisted Oaks Ranch is a quiet and secluded ranch. Mudbuddys (off road ATV playground) is 5 miles away. The famous Morales store is a historical landmark and is located 10 miles away (famous for great hamburgers). Hallettsville to the North and Edna to the South are 20 miles away. Splashway (great Water Park) is located in Sheridan, about 30 miles away.

This is a bird haven and there are many times that the green jays will keep you amused. There has even been an occasional fox spotted trotting out of the brush to grab a drink of water.

Seadrift is a small town with a unique flavor. San Antonio Bay is the finish line for the Famous Texas Water Safari, where people love to fish, kayak and sail.
BIRD WATCHING:
We are in the Coastal Birding Trail –Calhoun Loop. San Antonio bay is the perfect spot to view Scoters, Oldsquaw. Along the Seadrift bay front, numerous ducks, gulls, and terns may be found.

My space is unique because it is a lot of square feet and hardwood floors with bar stools, and a new fridge game microwave! Also in the living room they’re is a 50 inch tv with over 200 channels to choose from! High speed internet connection and just a great overall homey feel!
The neighborhood is great! Real quiet, and the neighbors are very friendly!

This house provides a spacious living area, large kitchen with bar as a gathering place for food and fun plus a large table for dining.
Large pool with alligator painted in the bottom for swimming and water recreation. Picnic table. BBQ grill and poolside areas to gather and converse as well as a large lush lawn. Beautiful sunsets and starry nights.
The Saylor House is a local landmark in Historic Port Lavaca, TX that has endured for generations.
The neighborhood
Less than 20 miles from Indianola (Once known as the gem of the West), and the site at which La Salle made a claim for France of all land from the Mississippi River to Texas. La Salle and his men after suffering shipwreck between the barrier island and the coast finally made it to shore. La Salle named a nearby river Les Veches, or "Cow River", the Spanish translated it to La Baca and it eventually became Lavaca.
Amusingly La Salle's journal entries initially made fun of the native Indians they met whom he noted ridiculously covered themselves in mud. Later in his journal he noted however that the "mud" really did make a good and excellent insect blocker.
In fact it is the amazing insect ecosystem and bio diversity of this region which allows so many distinct ecosystems in the area to flourish. From bottle nosed dolphin, to man-o-war, jellyfish, and fish of every kind. Here you'll find amazing arachnids, multitudinous insects of every variety, and even rare and dissapearing avians like the red tailed hawk. The almost extinct whooping crane can be observed just a few miles down the road in the Aransas Wildlife Refuge! Let the nature lover in you get excited!
Of historical note both Port Lavaca & Indianola saw Northern and Confederate action during the Civil War as the North successfully blockaded the coast to ensure the banner of the United States as the last of Six Flags over Texas.

It is located four blocks from beautiful Matagorda Bay Beach. Plenty of parking. Very boat friendly with drive-through & wash area. Everyone welcome. Dish TV with all sports channels and great grilling area. Wi-Fi and complete work station provided. Computer and new high speed HP printer and paper provided.
All amenities at a very reasonable price. Great view of small town life on front, upstairs deck. Outdoor, covered grilling area with picnic tables and nice grill. Plenty of parking for boat or four vehicles.
