Most famous beach in the world and we live only 3 miles away. The bus right next to our house will take you there. 15 minute bus ride for less then 3 bucks. Take a beach chair and enjoy the day.

Nice place to snorkel especially if you are a beginner. It does get very croweded and you might have to wait in line to get in. This will take you over 3 hours to enjoy. I use to go here a lot.

Only body surf here if you are truly very, very, very GOOD body surfer. Its fun to watch the surfers while sitting on the beach. Nice pit stop to take pictures. I use to surf here when I was younger

This is in the same place as Ala Moana Beach Park. Great place to take pictures and picnic. Not as busy as Waikiki and its only 4 miles from the house.

China Town is very popular with the locals. Great place for shopping and food. You will see a lot of culture here !! lots of walking and can be hard to find parking on the weekends. Best dim sum !

This is a very windy road up the mountain. There are some nice hikes up on this mountain. I did a bike ride DOWN Tantalus drive on a tour and i had a blast. It was very easy all down hill, LOL ***

I would highly recommend this if you have never been to a Luau. I had my wedding reception here and we all had so much fun. The show is awsome too. Its definately a Hawaiian culture event. ****

I LOVE this beach !!! the only problem is finding parking on the weekends. Its best to go during the week. there is no surf just easy relaxing water. Nice place to have a picnic. Bring your cooler.

Getting Around

The bus stop is right next to our garage if you are coming back from Waikiki. If you are going to Waikiki the bus stop is across the street near Kahala Ave. Ask Jeanette and she will show you. You can download an app it called "The Bus" it is very helpful.
