Beautiful 1930s Stadium. Helsinki was supposed to have the 1940 Olympic Games and the stadium was finished in 1938 to host the games. Unfortunately due to war those games never happened.
Helsinki then got the 1952 games instead :)

Nice park around the bay of Töölö right in the city centre. Many important buildings around the bay such as Olympic Stadium, Opera House, Finlandia Hall, Music Centre, Kiasma, Oodi Library, National Museum, The Parliament etc.
Don't miss the beautiful 19th century wooden villas, there's also a cafe on two of them (open in the summer)

Nice park around the bay of Töölö right in the city centre. Many important buildings around the bay such as Olympic Stadium, Opera House, Finlandia Hall, Music Centre, Kiasma, Oodi Library, National Museum, The Parliament etc.
Don't miss the beautiful 19th century wooden villas, there's also a cafe on two of them (open in the summer)
