Some live music Midweek on Wednesdays where you can walk around and sample some of the foods of different countries. A fun experience and close to where we are accommodated - within walking distance.

Great food and atmosphere. Also has inside and outside eating and a bar area to sit whilst you wait for a table. Can get quite busy on a weekend, so booking is advisable.

There are many restaurants, bookshops, barbers, pharmacies and newspaper cafes all within walking distance, no need to use a car or transport to reach these. If you enjoy walking, or running, there are some pretty steep hills, otherwise most of the area is fairly flat. Cyclists have used bikes in the area, but there are no specifically designated cycle tracks in Melville, these are more in the area of the Universities, approximately 2 kms away.
