In Salento, usually, to choose the beach we want to enjoy, we go based on the wind, so I will divide them generically between wind from the North and South and between sandy or pebble beaches.
At the mouth of the river chidro. It’s a very particular as a place because you find the mouth of an icy river so with fresh water that flows directly into the crystal clear sea, very particular and very beautiful!

Via 414 Kif you want to stay on a sandy beach, it will certainly be very crowded, but if you go there you need to stop for a snack at * Dentoni *: which is right on the sea, where I recommend you try a good coffee ☕️ from Lecce and their typical cake: 🍰 the crêpes cake 😍 their specialty!

unmissable - a nature reserve, it's very tiring to get to the sea but it's worth it because it's gorgeous! If you go to the wild port, I recommend that you stop for a beer 🍺 at sunset at Ficodindia: a place that is right above the cliff, at Torre Uluzzo

And a natural spectacle can be found in a little place called * il ciolo * also called the southern fjord. A very high cliff, a deep inlet and a lot of steps to get there😂 but it's worth it!
