Deslocar-se
Leave your car in Portland, unless you have to bring it over
The car line for the Ferry is extremely long sometimes. On busy weekends, people wait in line for HOURS to get on the boat. SO, we recommend that you leave your car in Portland if you can. The apartment is a 4-minute walk from the boat (up a short steepish hill at the start). If you are travelling light, you should be able to carry your luggage to the apartment. BUT, if you need to bring your car, that is fine too.....

Walk, bike, or golf cart
Peaks Island is a small island with a 3.8 mile perimeter road that is great for walking, running, biking. You can rent bikes at Brad's Bike Shop for the hour/day/week. If you want to drive, you can rent golf carts for the hour/day/week at Mike's Carts, but DEFINATELY call ahead for golf carts, they sell out FAST.
