No hiking here, but worth it to drive by at the least. And if you're into history and archeology, check out the visitor center.

Neighborhood River Access. Easy access to the river on a shaded trail through old Cottonwood trees. You'll see few people here, if any. Keep your eyes peeled for a grey heron, other migratory birds and fish jumping out of the water. A two minute drive or a fifteen minute walk from the house takes your to a great little trail alongside the Verde River. Our Property Owner's Association has been working hard to build riverside benches, remove trash & invasive plants and create a peaceful riverside getaway in our neighborhood. Use GoogleMaps and this address to get you there: 4440 E Comanche Dr, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 Turn on Satellite layer in GoogleMaps to get an idea of the lay of the land. Trail is short, one mile max. Majority of trail length heads towards the right (east). You can also head left from the trailhead, for about a half-mile. Enjoy!
