We truly enjoy Brendas. Great ice cream, both hard and soft serve. This is a Walk- up facility. They do have some lunch items. Generous portions. Amish owned. Payment, cash. Please check for hours. Could be limited or Closed September- April.
Will not be open on Sundays.
No restrooms. Seating is outdoor. As always, enjoy looking at the horses, please do not touch. They are working. The owners of the horses might not mind you photographing the horses, but please respect people and do not photograph the locals.

A little bit further south, but easy to get to, wine tasting and tours offered. Along with events like live music. Beautiful area to visit.

Please check their web site for hours and whether they take cash, check or charge. (You have stepped back in time). This is an amazing drive through- walk up, sandwich and ice cream hot spot! Approximately 9 miles away through Amish Country or straight up St. Rd 9, you can eat in the car or under their pavilions. It’s a great chance to see the horse and buggies tied up.
FYI, out of respect for others, we do not photograph people. They might not mind you taking a picture of their horses though.
