Cool speakeasy atmosphere (entry through the back door), this place is fantastic for an intimate perfectly crafted cocktail, or a PBR straight from the can. Whatever floats your boat!

I'll be honest ... I come here for the whisky selection, and the chainsaw cut ice cubes. But their food is amazing too - the "Original Chopped Salad" used to have it's own Facebook fan page. They have a fantastic Happy Hour!

Super chill atmosphere, eclectic beer selection, and good food. I am not even sure what is happening in the basement now - but it's always something cool. Be sure to ask them!

An experience unlike anything else. You board a "train" and drink terrific cocktails along the way. Be sure to make a reservation.

Chef George Frasher is a local legend, and his BBQ restaurant less than a mile from our place is one is one of the most revered in town. BUT, there is a twist - lately a prominent celebrity has gone public that Frasher's also has the best pizza in town. Do you believe them? Only one way to find out ...

My favorite ramen place in town. Try Nishikawa Black - I honestly can't stop thinking about it for days after!

Sightseeing

You absolutely MUST have a drink here. Built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, and one of two oldest resorts in the Arizona, this used to be the haunt of Hollywood elite during the golden era. Supposedly Irving Berlin wrote "I am dreaming of a white Christmas" poolside here.

I will be honest, I didn't "get" Arizona until I visited the DBG. Only then did I understand why the Sonoran desert is the most lush in the world, and how diverse (and yes, different) the desert flora is.

Hiking

There is a reason why this is the most popular hike in Phoenix. Just the right amount of challenging, in the middle of town, with 360 views of the entire Phoenix Valley from the top. The real estate views along the route are also fascinating!
