A charismatic village approx 0.5 miles from the apartment. The Kent’s Pub is a local’s favourite, for drinks and food and has an outside beer garden. There are a range of cafe’s and small shops, including a lovely little Boutique, and patisserie. The Coop there is a decent one, good for the last minute groceries. Me and Mrs Jones do a lovely breakfast and lunch and has great character. There is also a post office.

A beautiful beach
Two minutes drive from the apartment or a twenty minute walk. A lovely cafe there with a fantastic outlook as well as an ice cream can at the other end! Toilets above the cafe; 30p and take contactless.
Meadfoot Beach
5 minutes drive/half hour stroll away. Can get a cable car down and back up, return, or stroll. 3 Degrees West cafe over looking the beach. Amazing sunrise views. Even better if you can swim out or paddle board and watch from the water!

An up market resort. Guests can book in for lunch /dinner but booking advised. Beautiful settling. Pricey, but a real treat! Not one for families in a budget! But definitely a treat to impress! 3 minute drive away. Very steep hill down for car so do not attempt if you are not a confident driver! There is a car park at the bottom. Many get cable car at other end of the Downs and walk across.
