One of the world's top 50 bars is Himkok in Oslo, just a 15 minute walk from our home. They serve the best cocktails (also virgin ones, you just have to ask for those) I've ever tasted! It's a quiet bar, dark, classy, with their own distillery right there. You'll be in awe from the perfection of the ice cubes!

The public transport boats go to all the islands right outside Oslo. The closest and biggest one, "Hovedøya", is only 5 minutes away. In winter it's a winter wonderland, in summer it's an amazing place to go bathing. There is a small café on the island (don't think that's open in winter though).
