This is the kind of place you look for but rarely find as a tourist: a real locals' haunt. There's nothing fancy about Kod Šime,It is just good food for a reasonable price.

Not many European capital's have such a beautiful mountain with the status of Nature Park right above it. There is almost a labyrinth of more then 70 marked hiking trails across the mountain, many starting from the city and ending on the mountaintop. Medvednica offers a great workout, a breath of fresh air, beautiful nature, cooling during the hot summer days and usually lots of snow in the winter. And last but not least refreshment and great meal in one of many mountain lodges
