RedRocks is my favorite pizza joint in the area. The ambiance is charming and there's a patio for outside dining as well. Reasonably priced and on 11th Street which has its own quiet charm and personality, dotted with fun restaurants and conveniences.

If driving, biking, or walking recommend the Rock Creek Park entrance down Harvard Street which is closest, and there is parking available. In the winter, the zoo is festooned with winter lights and becomes a seasonal draw for residents and tourists alike.
