My favourite restaurant in Samoens : ) Located on the main square.
Not very large place, but intimate. Very nice owner who explains the menu in detail. Most of the ingredients are organic, including the meat. Slightly more expensive than the other places, I think, but worth it.

On Wednesday mornings there a fantastic market, for over 500 years it has been market day in Samoens, clustered around the lime tree in the main square and through the narrow streets. Bring back hand-painted china, interior furnishings, cheese, local hams, wine or leather goods.
Location: Carpark of the patinoire (ice skating risk), near the Tourist Information.
