The food is spot on at Rosey's - great for breakfast and lunch. Short and sweet wine list and possibly the best coffee option?

The guys at Maxwell's are great - this place is your local organic grocery - amazing beef from Wakefield Grange, local fruit & veg. But, wait, there's more! They're also a cafe serving up organic coffee, juices, cakey things and burgers too.

Our favourite restaurant in the area. Fine dining, but in a relaxed atmosphere and in an absolutely stunning clifftop location. Nuff said.

The Willunga Farmers Market was one of the first (and still best) of it's kind in Australia. A buzzing food market, with an increasing selection of eating experiences too. Cheesemakers, winemakers, brewers, live music - great people watching!

Arts & Culture

The township of Willunga is just so pretty, with so many of the original stone/slate buildings from the 1800's still standing. The courthouse is well worth a visit, even if only to wander the grounds and to take the short loop walk over the creek.

Sightseeing

Wandering up the main street of Willunga is great - artists, artisans, cafes, 2nd hand shops - unspoiled by development

Drinks & Nightlife

McLaren Vale has a reputation for big red wines, but there are so many wineries doing so many different things - lots of alternative grape varieties, etc. You can visit tiny producers like Battle of Bosworth (well worth it) or the really big guys like Hardys, and everything inbetween...
