Tordenskjoldsgade is the main street in a very nice, old quarter of Aarhus - a former working quarter with lots of charm and only 20 min walk from my home. Here you will find a cinema, restaurants and small shops.

The Steno Museum offers a lot of exiting and fun science activities no matter if it is raining or snowing or the sun is beaming down from a cloudless sky. If you are interested in astronomy, you can also explore the entire solar system with our Magic Planet and in the museum’s planetarium, guides take you on a tour through the stars, planets and black holes. Experience a presentation in the Planetarium saturdays and sundays at 12:00 and 14:00. You can se our two new exhibitions, reflect on modern body culture and ideals of beauty. but you can also relax in the fragrant medicinal herb garden and possibly enjoy your packed lunch in the summertime.

Neighbourhoods

Trøjborg, Latin Quarter, Vestergade, Indre by is some of the old quarters. Whereas Aarhus Ø is a new quarter at the harbour. I love them all.
Latinerkvarteret is one of the most popular areas of Aarhus. Regardless of the cobblestones, everybody cycles through this central area full of history, good cafes and boutique stores. Take you rental bike in Aarhus to the Latin Quarter, lock it and enjoy a cafe at La Cabra or at Great Coffee. If you are hungry after all the cycling, try the best seafood at Mefisto.
