If you love authentic French « charcuterie », this place is a must ! The reason to go back to Paris! This tiny shop provides an impressive selection of saucissons, pâtés and cheeses -Ask for their unique “cabecous” (dry goat cheese). the owners don’t always display them and keep them for their local customers. Simply the best chocolates in Paris! Take my word for it and try the green domes. Named best chocolatier of France (Meilleur Ouvrier) in the year 2000 at only 32 years old, Roger has emerged as a leading figure in the artisanal wing of the industry. He’s set himself apart with his insistence on fresh, palate-opening flavors like lime and lemongrass. But perhaps most of all, his larger-than-life, often-provocative and irreverential sculptures in both chocolate and bronze have captured imaginations and won him legions of fans. It helps that it’s all singularly delicious, no matter the form The closest Patrick Roger is located Place Saint Sulpice

Within 2 minutes walk. The Fontaine Saint-Sulpice is a monumental fountain located in Place Saint-Sulpice in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It was constructed between 1843 and 1848 by the architect Louis Visconti, who also designed the tomb of Napoleon. Fontaine Saint-Sulpice (1843–48) The four figures on the fountain represent four French religious figures of the 17th century famous for their eloquence. Bossuet, North, statue by Jean-Jacques Feuchère Fénelon, East, statue by François Lanno Fléchier, West, statue by Louis Desprez Massillon, South, statue by Jacques-Auguste Fauginet, completed by Fouquiet after the death of Fauginet. The fountain is also called, in French, "La Fontaine des quatre points cardinaux," which means the "Fountain of the 4 Cardinal Directions," as it faces North, South, East, and West. This name is also a pun, because "points cardinaux" in French is a play on words. It can be understood as "Point Cardinaux" which means "not Cardinals," as all four of the bishops portrayed in the statues, while renowned, were never elevated to Cardinal.

Le Jardin du Luxembourg is a mythical park in Paris. The gardens cover 25 hectares of land split into French gardens and English gardens. Between the two, lies a geometric forest and a large pond. There is also an orchard with a variety of old and forgotten apples, an apiary for you to learn about bee-keeping and greenhouses with a collection of breathtaking orchids and a rose garden. The garden has 106 statues spread throughout the park. A fun game is to look for a replica of the Statue of Liberty There are many activities and facilities for children such as puppets, rides and slides, remote control sailboats on the central pond. Adults, whether they are locals or tourists, can play or watch chess, tennis and bocce (called pétanque in French) in the open air.

mythical brasserie in the district. Excellent seafood The Café Procope, in rue de l'Ancienne Comédie, 6th arrondissement, is called the oldest café of Paris in continuous operation.[1] It was opened in 1686 by the Sicilian chef Procopio Cutò (also known by his Italian name Francesco Procopio dei Coltelli and his French name François Procope),[2] and was a hub of the artistic and literary community in 18th and 19th century Paris. However, the original café closed in 1872 and did not reopen as a café until the 1920s, so the claim of "oldest café in continuous operation" is not entirely true. Marie Antoinette and Napoleon Bonaparte frequented the restaurant.

An institution! The World’s Best Bread according to the French (except Tartine Bakery in San Francisco if you ask me) Buried deep under Paris’ ancient streets, you’ll find the baking and proofing rooms of Poilâne Bakery. Since opening in 1932, this place has become a staple in the city and beyond, known for their incredible pain au levain. Frank Sinatra and Lauren Bacall were huge fans in their day, and Salvador Dali once summoned Lionel Poilâne himself to create sculptures using bread as a medium..

Le “Merveilleux” deserves its name. It means “marvelous” in French. It is a must-have dessert made by the establishment. Its secret? An inimitable meringue that makes this cake so light and airy... soooooooo yummy! trust me: if you try one, you will be addicted!. They come in different flavors (see my picture)

Gérard Mulot pâtisserie and bakery has been a Paris institution for nearly half a century. Founded in 1975, the Saint-Germain-des-Prés bakery has earned a stellar reputation for its perfect breads (you must try their unique « baguette au levain ») and elegant desserts. Recently renamed Maison Mulot, the patisserie offers a mix of classic and contemporary treats.
