Walk along to the Bluebird Café in Ferring for an ice cream or a piece of cake. Head east along the beach and join the greensward for an easier walk next to the shore. This is dog walkers paradise and the café is very dog friendly.

A hidden gem and a real tranquil haven for everyone. Stunningly beautiful chalk gardens overlooking the sea. There is a lettered trail map for children to follow to make the visit more interesting for them. Afterwards head up onto Highdown Hill for an energising walk. On a clear day you can see Isle of Wight, Selsey Bill, Chichester Cathedral, Arundel Castle, Brighton and Beachy Head.

Littlehampton RoadA hidden gem and a real tranquil haven for everyone. Stunningly beautiful chalk gardens overlooking the sea. There is a lettered trail map for children to follow to make the visit more interesting for them. Afterwards head up onto Highdown Hill for an energising walk. Wait for low tide and head out along our private path that takes you right out onto the shingle. Take buckets and spades for hours of fun and exploring. Finish off with a cup of coffee and icecream at Salt beach shack.
