Museums
This is such a large and magnificent museum that even on crowded days you can find areas that are quiet such as the African art galleries. Go early in the day for the best viewing of popular exhibitions. New York is lucky to have such a fantastic Museum with so many Masterpieces. I do think it would take a whole week to see the complete Museum . Read about the Museum before you go so that plan for when you get there. Also beyond the main entrance with all the stairs on the left side of the front of the Museum there is another smaller entrance for handicap and everyone else. It is less crowded.
There is a balcony where you can have a glass of wine and a snack. There is also a cafeteria and high end restaurant. Also there are numerous places to eat surrounding the Museum on the surrounding blocks. Also if it is nice day visit Central Park which is right behind the Museum.
