Good oldschool whisky and ale Bar just off the Mile. Gathering place for the locals, whisky professionals, tourist who likes and appreciate scottish whiskies. They have fresh homemade pies every day and if you buy your favourite cheese from Mellis cheesemonger opposite the Bar you can bring in and you can eat in the Bar.
Good knowledgeable staff and good recommendations.

Small, historical place just off the Castle in a very very busy area but inside a good athmosphere with a small but good kitchen, great staff and (again) passion behind the Bar! Very good selection of whiskies, old bottles, new releases, break even bottles!

In a nice part of Edinburgh, at Stockbridge area, this Bar has one of the best cellar policy in Scotland. Their beers always in a fresh and top condition!
Food avalaible and every Sunday at Stockbridge has a farmer’s market where you can buy fresh fishes, breads, cheeses, games and poultry and before you come home to cook have a good pint at Stockbridge Tap;)
