Helgafell, or “Holy Mountain,” is a mountain just outside the town of Hafnarfjörður, a 20 min drive from the house. It’s a climb that doesn’t take long to hike, yet the view from the top is spectacular. If i'm longing for a light walk and fresh mountain air then I will go the Helgafell with my dogs. Some locals even go mountain running, an exercise which is growing in popularity in Iceland. This makes a hike up Helgafell the perfect trip if you don’t want to spend an entire day hiking, or just take a break from the city for a few hours.

Fantastic Volcano interactive expedition in the south of Iceland. I have been to this and I can really recommend. If you want to learn more about the volcanoes and eruptions then this is a must visit.

If you go there I recommend Slippurinn for dinner (Amazing dining experience), GOTT (tasty lunch) and also Eldheimar (Museum of the eruption that happened on the island 1973).

A wonderful visit to a Tomato farm in the south of Iceland. Tasty food and drinks all made from their tomatoes situated inside the greenhouse. Beautiful experience <3.
