Margaret Island provides a peaceful hideaway from hectic downtown Budapest with large green areas, flowery gardens, old trees, and lots of entertainment.
It's perfect for runners because the island has a measuring 5.35 kilometers (3.33 miles), and is popular among both locals and tourists because of its superb quality and easy access.

two musical fountains,
a historic water tower,
swimming pools,
a water park,
playgrounds,
open air theatre and cinema,

A multi-cultural entertaining center on 11,000 m2 giving place for concerts, exhibitions, parties, dance shows and performances from every genre of art. Located at the edge of the downtown on the bank of danube right next to the palace of arts and the Rákóczi bridge.
