If you are a health nut, vegetarian, or vegan than this is going to be your go-to spot in Wailuku. They have the best Acai Bowls, smoothies, fresh juices, sandwiches, and daily soup selections. They make everything there with local ingredients. There is only a counter to sit at so don't expect much ambiance and if you go at lunch be prepared to wait a little while. Luckily there are lots of shops near by to kill 10 or 15 minutes while you wait for your food.

Stillwell's is a local bakery that has been around for years. My favorites there are the quiche for breakfast, the tuna melt for lunch, and the fruit tartlette for desert. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

This is your no nonsense Anytown, USA style diner done Maui style. If you enjoy a good greasy spoon and appreciate a place that still rocks their 50's style than you're in luck. The prices are unbeatable for Maui and they claim to have "World Famous Pancakes". I don't know about being famous or not, but they are pretty darned good. This is literally around the corner. It's very Thai and is kind of an outdoor indoor seating area. Service is friendly but slow. Great quiet place to eat with the family or friends.

Hawaii loves its Asian cuisine and this little taste of Vietnam doesn't disappoint. There is an older gentleman on the waitstaff that if you are lucky enough to be served by you will not forget. He always puts a smile on my face. The food is outstanding and so is the service. They just upgraded the bar and its great for a glass of wine or cocktail as well.

Everything here is amazing.

This state park is stunning. In just a few short minutes you are taken from the town of Wailuku into the valley of Maui's breathtaking West Maui Mountains. It's difficult to describe how beautiful and peaceful it is here. There are hiking trails, some that are short, paved and easy. Others are moderate and longer. There are pavilions with picnic tables and barbecue grills that are popular for family outings and parties all located right next to the stream. It is a local secret to bottle water here. It is the freshest cleanest water on the island and some say the world! You will often see locals with big water jugs and the water fountains. Make sure you leave time to walk the gardens as well.

Everything from live musical and theatrical performances to Chamber Music and Comedy. Definitely worth checking out for the community theater buff and only a 5 minute walk away.
