a local restaurant for you that wants to have a taste at local food. They serve only one type of dish that is the signature Bali 'suckling pig'. It can be a little spicy, but is very good!
They will serve the suckling pig with side dishes and rice. You can order 'campur' if you wish to have the meat and side dishes serve on top of your rice on the same plate OR you can order 'pisah' which means that you wish for the rice to be served on a separate plate to the meat and side dishes.
A portion will cost around IDR 45,000 (as of October 2017)

Best tea time place in Seminyak! Their high tea selection will allow you to taste bites from a mix of local to international snack. You must try their carrot cake! I sometimes go here just for the carrot cake. The ambience of the restaurant is also a great glimpse of Indonesian tropical architecture, when its raining, and you are having your high tea here, and its quiet, it feels out of the world : )
Definitely my favorite spot in Seminyak!

A great Vietnamese food that is very recommended if you are in the mood for asian lunch or dinner. The food tastes fresh and fragrant! Try one of their salad bowl or their pho or Vietnamese spring roll. Service was very great too!

This is my favourite temple in Ubud. The temple is very photogenic with various of objects and moments to capture. But the most important feature here, is you can do a cleansing ritual with the spring water from the spouts, in which each spouts represent a different meaning. Please dress appropriately, do your research prior to coming here and be culturally sensitive. This place is A MUST VISIT for you to really get an insight on local beliefs and culture. Definitely not to be missed.
P.S : I recommend you to take a day trip and rent a car with a driver to go there, as not so many online taxi is available in that area.
