Wonderful little Italian restaurant with mouth-watering daily specials. Try the grilled brussel sprouts as an appetizer. If you're leery of overly big portions, Shells & Sauce has an uncommonly good Happy Hour. This is a good place to go before or after the Denver Botanic Gardens, which is a short walk to the west.

Fiddler's Green is an amphitheatre in the middle of Greenwood Village, just 5-10 minutes from our home. It gets some great acts each summer. You have the choice of lawn seating or chairs.

The center is home to about eight theaters, including Broadway shows, other touring shows, cabaret, black-box, symphony, dance and opera. And the best part is you can take a 20-minute light rail from the Yale Station to the Convention Center/Theater District and avoid the traffic/parking hassle of downtown.

Getting Around
The Yale RTD station is just one-third mile away and has free parking. It's the most convenient way to get downtown, allowing you to skip the traffic and parking. The best destinations are Union Station (i.e., if going to a Rockies game) or the Convention Center/Theater District.
