The Quay Inn public house and restaurant is situated in a most picturesque location in Instow, with outstanding views of Appledore and Bideford – the perfect place to watch the sun go down.
At the Quay you are assured a warm welcome from Landlords Steve and Maggie Dymond and the team who are a mix of youth and experience.
This cosy pub has a well-deserved reputation founded on good food, great beer and a fantastic atmosphere. It seats around 40 people with muddy boots and dogs welcome while the upstairs restaurant accommodates 50 people with amazing views across the estuary.
Our food starts with fresh local ingredients which our Award Winning, chefs turn into tasty treats with a whole lot of flair, our doctrine is gate to plate and trawler to plate. Our menu is a mix of traditional pub food and we are proud of our homemade specials board which regularly feature local fish, shellfish and many meat dishes, vegans and vegetarians are also well catered for.
We have a Cask Marque for our ales ensuring that our beer is served to you in perfect condition, alongside our ales sit a choice of lagers, scrumpy (the stuff of legends) wines and spirits and not forgetting our popular gin menu!
