A wonderful place to relax. Short walk from our house. About 900 crowns admission fee. Hot pots, water slide, swimming pool and splash pool for children. Good security. Steam bath. Sun beds in the summer time. Locked cabinets for clothes and valuables. Nice environment. Great in all, must go. But remember to wash before going into the pool, without swimsuit. Icelanders are strict about that.

Bubbling mud pools. Good attraction. But take care of not going outside of marked paths. You can easily step through the ground and suffer bad burns on your legs. Take care, but enjoy the scenery and smell :)

An old crater. You can walk a circle on the top of the crater. Great view over Myvatn area. You have to hike up the slope towards the peak of the crater, and then take a walk round. Wonderful.
