If you are into history then it might be worth to check out the three gigantic swords in Hasfjord, which marks the place where the battle that united Norway to one kingdom happened. From there you also have great paths along the water for walking/biking.

A must visit when you are in Stavanger. To get there you can drive through the World's longest underwater road tunnel with your own car or take bus number X100 to Jørpeland and catch a taxi from there. The cost of the bus is 75kr each way and a taxi from Jørpeland around 200kr each way. In the summer there are also tour bus packages that you will easily find information about online. I work as a guide and can take people on a private guided trip with transport, food, included. I would show you the best spot for pictures and also some viking runes along the way for a cost of 1000kr.

In this allotment garden we have a cabin which our guests can visit and use. The allotment garden consists of 127 cabins and is open to the public between 8 and 18 every day, so in this time you will not need a key. If you wish to visit outside of opening hours you could take the key with colorful pearls which is hanging in our hallway. Our cabin has a fridge, a kitchen and a bed. For toilets and showers you would have to go to the main building which is a 5 minute walk from our cabin. You are also welcome to stay there over night if you wish.
